Can I clarify...you created the questions, and these are Ben's responses...or...there was a wider discussion about this?

 

If nothing else, I do hope that the shemozzle which is the current state of the minutes pre-kick off is sorted out before the ACL.

Yes, I created the questions on the basis that I wanted to discuss it further but it was late on Friday so I just assumed he just answered the questions via email rather than calling which I didn't mind either way.

 

However, I wrote it on Monday, he got back to me Tuesday saying that he was meeting with the marketing team the following day regarding this area (as it is their domain/they look after it) and he replied by the end of the week.

 

My email in hindsight wasn't ideal and didn't really come across as planned but it did serve its purpose. I would have preferred to articulate things differently but when I started writing the email it came out in rant form. My intention was not to carry on too much as the longer the query the longer I thought it was going to get an answer.

 

In short it appears like it will not be changing in the short term which is a shame and the earliest date we can expect a change is early next year after they have digested fan response from the survey.

Would really like to see scarves up as we walk out, was quite impressive to see it in the bejing v CCM match

Oh by the way, was glorious sung tonight? I just arrived just before kickoff and didn't hear it sung like the last two matches (Sydney derby and Adelaide match)

people might hate it, i only just listened to it a few seconds ago but it sounds epic enough imo, i would love something like that if we are going to use music but that is just my opinion, it feels like a march into war song to me

 

if it wont be a walkout song please use it to replace the song when they are bringing out the jersey, would much rather it than the current song(which i forget the name of)

Australian song the WHOLE STADIUM is familiar with and will sing along to.. Would be great for international ACL games.. The Japs/Chinese/Koreans will know they are on Aussie soil when they hear it and will motivate our boys to perform...

Not far from starting Season 3,  and a few weeks away from participating in the next stage of the ACL, and the issue of the walk out song has quietened down.

 

I think the RBB has probably decided that the song has been  determined??? 

 

Just looking over Prydz's fantastic effort in collating the many options discussed at the start of this thread, the "We are Wanderers" option  ( "We are Sailing") is so fantastic as done by the Red Diamonds - amazing and inspiring!!!

 

Looks like we have a way to go before we'll be doing something like this at Pirtek, sadly. Can't hurt to still be thinking and talking about it though.

 

PS There's something very, very  poignant about Option 5 now.
