@blameturner and Tatiana

5 years worth of ideas discussed here - although this wasn't the first Thread to have walkout music discussed, and it's been some years since there has been much debate here.

Some of it is serious, some is frivolous!

The discussion of the team's performances is a bit limited atm :pardon: - so maybe there's an opening to discuss a walkout song - if people aren't having too much holiday fun to bother, that is.

Oh wow! I never visited this part of the forum!

I'll take a read!

To give you guys an insight, there's a huge team behind the scenes on matchday that runs the production. Tats and I are merely the hosts, the face and the voice that is.

There's a huge production team of around 20 people who handle the music, multiple producers, sound engineers, lighting, camera crew who make it happen!

Some of the decisions are out of our hands, we get scripts and run sheets with the schedule and it's set in stone.

Having said that, we can, and have, provided feedback before. An example is where I've read the acknowledgement of country, I requested that be done off camera, as I thought it would be a disservice to the meaning of the read if I appeared disinterested on camera reading directly from a sheet (it's a long segment).

Thanks Turner - it's really helpful to know something of the processes that go on behind the scenes!

We've yakked on here since before Prydz created  this Thread - and some of the good early suggestions may have been before this thread was created, but our chatting has always been in a vacuum, tbh.

Is this team you are part of attached to the stadium, or the club?

PS And congrats to you both - it's a big honour, I'm sure, to be the voices of the stadium! :good:

Thanks! I can thank Tats for it, she's the superstar even though she won't admit it!

The teams are external but contracted to the club, specialised production, media, lighting etc. They work extremely closely with the club and on matchday are more or less part of the club.

Hey @wendybr you may have noticed but your feedback, and others, was taken on board for the pre-walkout drone. You'll notice it has changed last two games to music.

Hello!!

I wasn't at the game last night, but I noticed the drone wasn't there last game. I'm sure many  would be grateful! :good:

I remember chatting at the start of the previous game as the walkout was happening, so wasn't 100% paying attention.

I noticed there was no drone, but dont actually remember music.

On the Eastern side, the sound is very indistinct. Don't think the acoustics are good at the stadium, tbh.

But good on you for passing on forum feedback!

:) :)

I'm pretty sure they've dulled the volume. Lots of people complained about how loud the PA was.

Maybe my Hosting voice is just too loud 😂

Noted and will pass on.

Keep up the good work.

When we score and you do the scorer name thing can you delay starting for a bit. I missed one or more of the 5 name calls for 4 of the 5 goals on Friday because I, with many others, was still cheering and didn't hear your call.

You do this well, even a bit better than Andy P, I think anyway. Have you been watching videos of “decibel” have you?

Agree with Ed, but sometimes I think it gets lost in the celebration of the goal. I do get that if you wait too long, you’ll be doing it after the players have kicked off (which isn’t a bad thing ;)).
