The Matilda's, Australian Woman's national football team

Leichhardt Oval was pretty good for the pre-WC game against New Zealand. Would likely be cooler than playing out west, and less likely to be impacted by other sports, too.

Leichhardt would work if there is one game but can't handle 2 games

These games might not go ahead, the Chinese team have been put in quarantine in their hotel in Brisbane. Ticket sales have been stopped as well.

Can they play these games on Christmas Island?

Apparently a few are from Wuhan and returned home for Lunar New Year. Looks like qualifiers after the W-League season.

To answer my own question, apparently FFA have asked Ticketek to withhold delivery until closer to the event...it's in three flippin' days! If anyone else is wondering where there tickets are, still coming apparently....

So on Thursday, the Matilda's only need a draw to win the group.

Win the group and they face Vietnam (Fifa Rank 32) in the playoff round.

Lose the group and they face Korea Republic (FIFA Rank 20).

China is ranked 15

Matildas should be good enough to win given that 2 of China's starters are at home and the awful preparation they have had. Plus we have Sam Kerr who is yet to be unleashed from the start.

9.15 metres.

Looking good for wins against Macarthur Bullsh***ers by pressing high.

The ref needs to watch China more closely then.

China are as physical  as us,  I think we have more quality though which should get us through.
