Burztur
Haven't compared the dates but not bad overall. Glad that we didn't have one thrown to ANZ. Round 9 (9 December) against Perth is at a TBA venue. Could it be ANZ? That would be pretty stupid - even by FFA standards. Prydzopolis 1 Link to post

Sime11
hopefully they play WSW v Perth at ANZ, everyone can boycott the game in protest to #notoANZ, maybe somehow close the ANZ gates up as well so the game has to be played behind closed doors, will show that ANZ is not viable for regular season games, therefore WSW home games stay at Wanderland. easier said than done though...... wanderersfanatic
But for a midweek game, it's more than enough capacity to be played at Campbelltown or Penrith. Having it at ANZ would make it look empty. Edited June 12, 2014 by wanderersfanatic Link to post

ManfredSchaefer
For away trips it's a poor crop this season, apart from the usual NSW matches, the only matches on Saturday outside NSW are two Perth and two Adelaide matches. Only three away matches on Sunday as well, Roar, City & Wellington. Bit peeved about this...the chances of doing a proper road trip to Brisvegas or Melbourne for an away game for me are about as probable as Sepp Blatter retiring before tomorrow mornings WC kick off. GunnerWanderer
the draw sucks pretty much most has been said we don't get Villa once is unacceptable. actually the best thing would be if he doesn't come till round 2 so ESFC get farked seeing the FFA rigged the draw for them. who the farks schedules 2 derbies in the first 8 weeks on a 27 round season ffs should we take the risk and book a flight to melb for the opener or is FFA gunna change it again? at least it's at Eithad - hopefully get 40K it's location is much better march through the city and be seen instead of next to the stinky **** yarra in the middle of nowhere. One each - Also City, Perth and Adelaide Just did an exercise averaging our home crowds over the first two seasons. I know first season figures a bit so, so as they grew dramatically as the season went on in 2012/13 while three Sydney derbies boosted the Saturday 7.45 figures but anyway here's what I discovered. 2012/13 – Average – Games (Crowd) Friday – 8565 - Heart in November (8075), Adelaide in December (9065) Saturday 5.30pm – 10,391 – Jets in November (9011), Glory in February (11,772) Saturday 7.45pm – 14,681 – Mariners in October (10,458), Smurfs in October (19,126), Victory in November (9614), Heart in January (14,624), Smurfs in March (19,585) Sunday – 12,983 – Roar in December (6755), Mariners in January (16,387), Phoenix in March (15,809) Midweek and or Public Holiday – 13,659 – Victory in January Campbelltown – 10,589 – Jets in February 2013/14 – Average – Games (Crowd) Friday – 16,340 – Adelaide in November (16,279), Roar in February (16,401) Saturday 5.30pm – 13,220 – Heart in December (14,549), Adelaide in March (11,892) Saturday 7.45pm – 16,502 – Victory in November (15,854), Smurfs in January (18,080), Roar in April (15,573) Sunday – 13,653 – Phoenix in October (16,294), Glory in January (14,111), Jets in March (12,079), Glory in March (12,128) Midweek and or Public Holiday– 14,968 – Mariners in December (15,786), Phoenix in January (14,151) Average over two years Friday – 12,452 Saturday – 11,805 Saturday – 15,591 Sunday – 13,318 Midweek and or Public Holiday – 14,313 Burztur, Tigers, wanderersfanatic and 2 others 5 Link to post
Michael
Actually I think we do get Villa at home because of the split rounds. He also has a match in Wellington that he might be rested for as well. I said that above but it probably got lost. Villa is contracted for 10 A-League matches and our match against Melbourne City is their 10th match of the season, due to City's Round 9 match being moved to March 2015. So yay Villa in Wanderland!!! Link to post
