Highlight: Scored his first goal for the Wanderers against Wellington Phoenix in Round 16 Season 2014/15 on 8/02/2015

Description: Nikita Rukavytsya is an agile wing forward who burst onto the A-League scene as a teenager, scoring 16 goals for Perth Glory that secured a European move to FC Twente in 2009. 5 years later he returns to Australia in an attempt to finally fulfil the potential seen in his younger days. The much hyped flyer didn't perform to the expected standard scoring only 4 goals in his only season.

Looking forward to the crowds attempt at yelling his surname in the post goal call and response...

Good luck!

That will be funny :)

Truth being told, there are many relatively simple names in our squad that get mispronounced currently, Ruka will just make it harder.

He's actually being spoken about as a possible starter this weekend, having visited most other teams' forums in the last few days this signing really has them rattled.

My predictions about us staying down and miserable for a few more weeks then rocketing up the ladder look better and better each day.
