They’ve now lost as many games in all competitions as United did in their treble winning season.

On this other hand I think this actually increases their chances of getting their own treble. Instead of playing a full strength team in pointless league games chasing an invincible season they can rest players before key Champions League games (if they survive the second leg against Athletico after not resting anyone) and not play the kids in the FA Cup then whinge about it.

Never mind. Out of the Champions League and both cups, lost more games than United's treble winning season.

Still, winning the league for the first time on colour television was always going to be considered a successful season, regardless of the other tournaments.

The most ironic thing about Liverpool losing are the Man Utd, Man City and Everton fans coming out of their closet making jokes and mocking about Hillsborough

Gotta know why they have to go that low to get at Liverpool fans? These are just examples

No Everton supporter would go anywhere near making a Hillsborough Joke

seeing those faces being crushed against the face in that photo is very disturbing to me.

agree with you mate, no place for it.

It makes me sick that people could even contemplate making a joke of it. There are some sick and pathetic people in this world

But the move attracted fierce criticism from the former Reds players Jamie Carragher and Stan Collymore. On 27 February Liverpool announced pre-tax profits of £42m and increased turnover to £533m in the 2018-19 financial year. In 2017-18 they posted a world record pre-tax profit for a football club of £125m.
