Original and recorded chant idea - "Fire!"

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

This is something I made a little while ago. It's an original chant and an original melody, it's also pretty raucous and I wanted to do a chant that directly tried to get the stands involved (clapping at the least) as well. I've also always felt that something should follow directly on from the "WEST!" chant after the fast clapping and cheering at the end. I reckon that going directly into this would keep that energy going! I recorded it fairly quickly in my home studio and Logic drums.

Here are the lyrics:

Fire fire fire

Fire fire fire

Fire up for the Wanderers and

Fire fire fire

Fire fire fire

Fire in a shot on goal and

Fire fire fire

Fire fire fire

Spread the word of the Red and Black and

Fire fire fire

Fire fire fire

Let's go out of control!

Fire up!

The RBB!

Fire up!

The Western Stands!

Fire up!

The Eastern Stands!

Fire up!

You Wanderers!

I'm open to suggestions and feedback.

admire the passion, :clapping:  think your only one a few who has actually put fwd a chant and actually done a mix to it so we could hear what it sounds like, instead of like the majority of us who just put youtube videos and say, this would sound good.

How many chants do we need that have ale ale in them?

as someone who has watched some of the RBB chants on youtube

needs more off-key singing :ninja:

Nah, I think it'd work - you'd have to slow it down I think to get the stands involved but that's the only "complaint" (if it can be called that) I have.

Oh, and the repeated use of 'fire' may encourage certain... objects to be thrown or lit up if you know what I mean ;)

Hehehe! I resisted the urge to "ale".

I'll put a pitch incorrection filter on it next time ;)

I do like the up tempo of it but I see what you're saying. Listening to it again it could probably go down a key or two to make it easier to sing.

Yes I do get that concern lol (...just quietly, how awesome would it be to hear this chant amongst red, smokey light? Haha.)

I love it, It's got that European/South American feel towards it.

I give two thumbs up.

I like it, but I have a feeling the majority of the RBB (particularly the further you move from the centre), would be unethusiatic about it.

This would sound FANTASTIC when it goes off. But would sound terrible when no one gets into it.
