A few weeks ago we had a discussion about Bluesfest on the music thread ... tho given they are about to announce their first lot of artists I would start a thread in previous years they have about 5 or 6 announcements ..

I have linked below the festival link as they are about to make their first announcement .... well worth the effort to get their..

I have been to 5 of the last 8 and normally camp in the grounds along side the stages.

Normally I arrive late Wednesday and leave Tuesday morning. But you can also get day tickets and 3 day tickets..

Tis always over Easter and remember your gum boots as it often rains...

6 stages including and some great music with a audience very switched on to music and not much crowd trouble.

Can hardly wait if you have never been its worth the effort and just look at the previous years ... 2011 was the best IMO ..

My Dad used to say "if you can't say something nice don't say anything"

Rap and hop hop ........

Whack a solid beat under there and you're listening to hip hop more or less. It's just evolved a bit more... but it's out if the same roots.
