Another solid performance today. Aside from a weird passback infront of goal in the 1st half everything else was on point.

Keep him on for the rest of the season :good:

I thought the only thing wierd about the back pass was Topor sending the pass straight back to him.

Passing a ball back across your own goal is weird, especially when you know the goalkeeper is out of position (as you are the goalkeeper)

It was strange admittedly made worse by NTS giving it back to him.

Reddy should have hoofed it over halfway

But I'll forgive him, I can now open my eyes when we are defending corners

If the ball was just going to be passed backwards then, NTS should have taken the free kick but definitely agree with you that NTS took the wrong option passing it back to Reddy, who was out of position & was being closed down by 2 defenders.

Sorry Redders, you have now lost the number 1 position. Admittedly Glory were wasteful infront of goals, Reddy isn't as comfortable playing out from the back as Redders & he is as good as a shot stopper as Redders but there is one point of difference. For whatever reason, when the ball goes in the air around Redders he just has no idea & it really shows. I'm so happy that Reddy is so calm in controlling his box in the air & you can see the confidence it brings to everyone defending set pieces. It really makes a big big difference.

Must say though, Perth was so wasteful in front of goal. So could have easily scored 2-3 goals more.

It's so confusing when people say Redders and Reddy :P

It also really shows when Redmayne has the ball at his feet. He lacks confidence and control of the ball when it's at his feet, and it always bothers me when our defenders passed back to him. Reddy is confident and commanding, and although I'm not as anti-Redmayne as some I think that Reddy is definitely a superior keeper and it's a shame we didn't give him a go earlier on.

reddy should never have given it to NTS. When a keeper takes a free kick you assume he's going to hit it long. We did crazy stuff like that a couple of times. As much as I like us playing out this year sometimes I wish we would settle down when we get a free kick and "put it in the mixer" old skool style rather than take a free kick to somebody who has a man on and then hurried play the ball back to the keeper.

How good was the first goal? Throw form the back three passes goal.

Coz he and Redmayne were both shite but Redmayne was just a little less shite and he will do as a back up when we get a decent keeper for next season... Aaron Lennox would be a great option and better than playing in Crap Scottish PL which in my opinion is no better than EPL Div 3 equivalent, which he now is playing for Aberdeen...  I think his contract is also up at seasons end.

Perth Glory are understood to be close to finalising the signature of journeyman keeper Liam Reddy.

FourFourTwo understands that an announcement could be made imminently.

The signing would signal the end of the club's chase for former youth keeper Jack Duncan who is set to sign with Newcastle Jets.

If Reddy joins the Glory it would see the gloveman play for a record seventh A-League club.

Reddy's last stint in the A-League was with grand finalists Western Sydney Wanderers where he made six appearances, after being released by Central Coast Mariners during the January transfer window.
