Neverbloom
Arnold is doing absolutely the right thing in encouraging all football fans to get out there, even though he is wrong in stating that GWS v Swans was 62,000 - it was 60,222. But by all means, let's sail past 62,000. I stick by my assertion that we only have 15,000 to 16,000 ticketed (seat) Members until someone formally says otherwise. Pax of 39,278 + 15,000 = 54,278 which is closing on the 55,436 all-time A-League (2007 GF) record. At the rate tickets are selling (2,200 in last 24hrs) we should effectively have a new record by early tomorrow (Thursday). The 59,708 NRL regular season record should be overtaken by midday Friday and the GWSvSwans not long after as late sales increase. Of course we would need a Pax or three to confirm... My bet is we have more than 15-16 season ticket holders, it will be close to all the members. As fetching as the hat is the only real reason took out supporter members was to be on waiting list for a seat, we would now have cleared that waiting list. i might be headed to newtown post match, might be a pain No will be easy, get the central train to Redfern then it's only two stops back along the inner west line. thank you i didnt know that, i actually more meant avoiding sydney fc fans but at least i dont have to avoid them for long Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment
Themumf
I was saying he did the right thing, then he takes the first train back to tw@tville with the nonsense about ANZ being their stadium. They couldn't fill the toilet cubicles of the place never mind the stands. Prydzopolis, StringerBellend, Jukes75 and 3 others 6 Link to comment

Wanderboy
Don't forget walk ups fellas I really don't think there will be many of them. This is the sort of event that people pre-purchase. Plus, if there is even the hint of a shower or two as is in the forecast, that will dissuade a lot of walk ups. Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment
Carns
Never change Arnie, it keeps me amused. His comments have done exactly what is intended, stir up the opposition. I also like that Brosque says SFC players hate WSW players when the majority of the Australian players have known and played with each other for years. If it sells more tickets, good. It's more money for the WSW academy. matty, Prydzopolis and Valter43 3 Link to comment

Carns
Hamill won't start. The fullbacks are Clisby and Neville and he'd be third or fourth choice CB (and that includes NTS being suspended). Paul01, StringerBellend and Prydzopolis 3 Link to comment
Beer
I seriously hope Clisby is Neville mk II. Popa turned Scotty from a nobody to one of the best defenders in the league. His work going forward improved out of sight too. His crossing still needs work but he played some very nice balls through to Castelen at times last season. lloydy136, Prydzopolis, WSW27 and 3 others 6 Link to comment
