Horus
Which one of the Victory players was it that knee'd Redmayne? And can someone on this forum with more knowledge on the rules of play than myself, explain how a referee gives a yellow card for it?!? If the ref didn't see it, he should put it on review, shouldn't he? And if he did see it, how is it not a red card everytime?!? maybe it's just me but jerrad Tysons red card had less intention of harm, then Inghams knee to the face of aspro in any football league in the world that is a straight red seems the referees have beef with us Sydney fc got a penalty call for less last night We dont take our chances - love or hate him - Berisha takes his opportunities, but when the ref is clearly only watching one side it doesnt help - look at that early yellow on Santa, but Nico gets cut down constantly and its always play on Link to comment

StringerBellend
I should've gone to the Flume concert Or at least stayed outside and chatted up all the cuties going there - instead, I watched a performance of my love life if it was a football match What lots of nice build up play, some intricate passing, but soon as you get in front of the goal you completely miss the target then other guy gets one go at it and scores first time? Well I had a shocking night start to finish, not going to list it all, but total disaster. However one positive one of the ANZ stadium staff was so incredible helpful when my little guy was having a hard time. Case, wendybr, Unlimited and 1 other 4 Link to comment

That was the difference tonight, he got 3 chances and scored three times, the second difference was their 'keeper didn't knock the ball straight back into the middle of the box. The ref was crap but it didn't effect the result Edited December 10, 2016 by StringerBellend Horus 1 Link to comment

Prydzopolis
First Goal: Why does Redmayne palm it straight out? Has to palm it to the side if he can't collect it cleanly. A great striker can feed off scraps & Berisha scored off nothing Second Goal: Such great movement, loved the way he found his way in between the two CB's. Disappointed how neither of the two CB's took responsibility for him & left him free to finish with a class header Third Goal: Highlights how slow our CB's are, neither of our CB's have that pace & it showed. Not that pissed off as I expected. This season has taken a similar pattern every game, we dominate, create chances but fail to score chances. We don't capitalize on our dominance & a defensive error gives the opposition an undeserved lead. Again the opposition follow a similar pattern, ride out our attacks & expect WSW to fluff there chances, then score off the one clear chance they create. MV did very little wrong, keeper fantastic, didn't give the ball away in key areas & kept us out. Turning point for me was that second goal, to play so well without a final product & from pretty much nothing the game goes to 0-2, that hurt. The crowd were hurt, the boys looked hurt & the confidence was gone. Stopped playing football & everything fell apart. When they had the opportunities, they took them. We only have ourselves to blame. Paul01, sonar, GunnerWanderer and 7 others 10 Link to comment

The issue keeps comming up we need a striker we need a keeper i mean we were talking about this since last season. I still think we will get 5th or 6th but were not a top 4 team Victory showed that today Link to comment

I missed it live, only saw Redmayne reliving it for the ref. And assumed it was him. I'm not gonna make excuses for the team tonight. We played well, but wasted our many, many, many chances. But I am sick and tired of making excuses for blatantly bad refereeing. Week in and week out. It is costing us positioning. It is costing us goals. It is costing us players. And it is costing us Games. Enough with the incompetent or biased decisions already. Stop trying to compensate for your fear of the crowd, and do your bloody job!!! jdrudd91
Andrew Redmayne is finished. Not just with us but as a professional footballer. Guy is a fraud, he has stolen a living as a "goalkeeper" despite being completely unqualified to do so. He is the Donald Trump of goalkeepers. We should go with Tyson and the youth keeper as backup. Even the threat of Redmayne is too costly now. Everywhere else on the park we have improved except him. And as far as the kneeing incident, the fact that it was only a yellow shows how pathetic our refereeing ranks really are, gutless and spineless. A disgraceful decision. ptwsw and DamnedUnited 2 Link to comment

He gets no power in his jump and barely gets off the ground. It was a rather pathetic attempt. GunnerWanderer, Prydzopolis and DinoPresinger 3 Link to comment
