Western Sydney Stadium Construction (New Parramatta Stadium)

Recommended Posts

Have there been any announcements about who will be the stadium technology partner (eg the provider of the IT and wifi infrastructure for the stadium) Early on they were talking about companies like Cisco systems?

Assuming it wasn't all sorted out before in the design & construction phase, I would not be surprised if it was Telstra taking the lead on that side of things, as they did with the new Perth Stadium.

I think it'll be okay, stadiums built now have all this built into the design stages, unlike older stadiums where it was either non-existent or ad-hoc installed in the past 10 years, like how Parra never got it for patrons, but ANZ did, but it can't really handle a full stadium using it.

Good.

I watched 17 hours of the Indian Pacific slow TV thing, right nead the end you could see the stadium but it wasn't quite close enough, plus it was a bit old.

(Seriously though thanks for that!)

I imagine the structure itself is complete all around the stadium, last 100 days will be about completing the fitout and certifications.

The last pics I saw had bulldozers and building materials on the pitch.

So it’s sonewhere between ANZ after a concert and Suncorp on a normal day.

Yeah, tour around the dressing rooms, media areas, have a wander in the stands. Boro did that for members just before their new ground opened. It was the last thing I did with my grandad before he died of cancer...tour open day type thing for members way to go..
