Davo
I like the armada of Teslas in the first pic. Also that roof is classic pre-approved stadium render material. If it ever goes ahead that’s the first thing they’ll drop to meet the budget. DinoPresinger, mack and Prydzopolis 3 Link to comment
wanderersfanatic
It appears since ANZ is being redeveloper next year.. Bunnies and the dogs will move their home games to bankwest.. Even the tigers play there.. Pitch will suck once aleague starts... wendybr and Prydzopolis 2 Link to comment
MartinTyler
Does this mean that both the SFS and ANZ stadiums will be out of action at the same time for a year or two? wendybr and Prydzopolis 2 Link to comment

Prydzopolis
The big thing is that our season doesn’t get impacted. Play as many games you want out of the stadium, as long as the playing surface is good from October to April. Wobblies and wendybr 2 Link to comment

mack
That would cost as much as a new stadium. I still think wasting money upgrading Campbelltown is idiotic when there's a huge amount of land that could be bought to build a boutique stadium & licensed venue, training facility & administration offices. Wanderboy
The $729 million knock-down and rebuild of the Sydney Football Stadium has been thrown into chaos after the NSW government said construction giant Lendlease would not complete the project. Sports Minister John Sidoti said Lendlease had not been able to meet the government's requirements to rebuild the stadium on the Moore Park site on budget by 2022. "The project budget for Sydney Football Stadium is $729 million which includes stage one [demolition] and stage two [reconstruction] works," Mr Sidoti said. "Lendlease’s stage two offer did not meet the government’s expectations so we are looking for another builder in a competitive market." The government announced in December 2018 that Lendlease was the "construction contractor" for the entire project. Stage one, the demolition of the previous stadium, which opened in January 1988, has been mostly completed. https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/...26-p52b7u.html Prydzopolis, Hughesy and matty 1 2 Link to comment
