FFA Failure: Meet The New Boss, Same As The Old Boss

Recommended Posts

This article has more depth than the Bossi article in the smh. It is not just the headline, but also the review into all teams and their culture.

Matildas set for shock coaching shake-up five months before World Cup http://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-01-18/matildas-coach-alen-stajcic-on-shaky-ground-ahead-of-world-cup/10728342

There’s gotta be more to that. Seems way too generic to justify his sacking months out from the WC

Since hiring Gallop, National team coaches

Osiek sacked after qualifying for the 2014 World Cup, Postecoglou in

postecoglou reprimanded for openly supporting players in pay dispute.

Postecoglou resigns after qualifying for World Cup, BVM signed temporarily signed with Arnold selected as the only candidate by Gallop.

arnold whinging that he was not given enough resources to hold camps prior to Asian Cup

matilda coach sacked, Stajcic in.

matildas go on strike over pay and conditions

stajcic now sacked.

only youth national team to make a World Cup were the Joeys. Multiple youth team national coaches sacked over poor performance.

the development of players has failed sticking to the Dutch fraud, Han Berger, curriculum. Even the Dutch KVNB have thrown it away and getting results.

the one common denominator in all this is Gallop. He has to go and go now

Let’s put this nicely. The FFA can’t manage the NT and HAL together. It doesn’t have the resources. Get the right people for there NT management and HAL management...

Is there anything the FFA have touched in the last few years that hasn’t turned to crap? Far out it is just astonishing. The one shining beacon, at least as far as the general public was concerned was the Matildas and now they’ve screwed that up too. Gallop has to go and, quite frankly the newly appointed board should follow. Let FIFA run the show and set up a seperate mob to run the A and W leagues. Even allowing for the corruption-ridden stench that surrounds FIFA it would be difficult to see how they could do a worse job than this lot. Is it any wonder that the Australian public find it so easy to dismiss sokkah when it is administered so badly?

It's saying something when people prefer a corrupt FIFA to our lot!

Shouldn't be the only one and shouldn't be temporary - they should all step down.

Mental health but it shouldn't have come to this.

The new board should have performed due diligence on Gallop's recommendation before acting with the axe.

Yep. But it's now official.

I listened to Rallis on SST.

He said the Gallop w a s basically backstabbing Chris Nikou.

What was said was that the FFA will not go ahead with expansion next year and the two bidders asked to continue are Southwest Sydney and Western Melbourne Group to start in the season after next.  Gallop got Delloite's to piss off the Chinese backers of Southern Expansion after Lowy and Gallop promised them a franchise last year.

The (lowest) common denominator is Gallop.

#Gallop_Out_Now

Tallis talks a lot of **** but the guy is well connected in football circles, was spot on

ABC reporting Heather Reid has stepped down for chemotherapy treatment.

The FFA released a press release via website that was hastily taken down.

The first one mentioned taking a break for chemo treatment, the second just mentioned health reasons.

Ive been following this massive snowballing PR mess that has been the FFA handling of his sacking. Something doesn't seem right, lots of **** been spoken about online but if you know where to look, it sounds very worrying. As per macks  thread title, new boss but same shady rubbish as the previous board. Hate the politics.

Well I wish her all the best with that - but the rest of them should still move on, starting with Gallop....

FFA's website, MyFootball appears to have crashed. All the apps that cite A-league and W-League games can't show line-up or some don't have updated scores.

I seems to be a crash from too many parents trying to register their kid for their football teams.

Yep

Plus coaches and managers.

So much for being a seamless system according to O'Rourke

I got in early for young Wanderboy and all was seamless. It appears too many have left it too late.

Still, no excuse for the crash.

The FFA let all the clubs hold up #SaveHakeem banners and donated $10,000 to the PFA fundraising efforts for him to be released from a Thai prison. Then they announce that the Olyroos have a training camp later this month, in Thailand.

When it was pointed out to them that they're morons they moved it.

Isn’t #savehakeem a political banner? Shouldn’t that be banned?

Only when inconvenient to the overlords.

I have just sent the following as an email

To The FFA Board
I do not believe the sacking of Alen Stajcic was justified.

You should remove the biggest impediment to the well-being and growth of football in Australia by sacking David Gallop.

Here are the reasons

FFA CEO KPIs should include
1. Qualification of all national teams to their respective world cups FAIL
2. Improvement in refereeing standards shown by selection at various world cups that National Teams advance to FAIL
3. Growth in crowds at A-league and W-League games FAIL
4. Improve funding from the government for football as a whole, Grassroots to National Teams. FAIL
5. Improve facilities for football in every state and every level. FAIL
6.Maintain a harmonious culture across all levels of football from Grassroots to Professional. MASSIVE FAILURE

Therefore David Gallop is a MASSIVE FAILURE AND AND MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT TO THE FOOTBALL FAMILY

SACK GALLOP.
