I was waling around Woolies this morning with my trolly and they had Rhythm is a Dancer on the PA system! Not heard that in years...for anyone aged say 38 - 40 and went clubbing in the 90's you would have been listening to this. I can smell the stale lager stained sticky floors and see the lights....the shyte club DJ talking all over the song.....would get all the girls going this one though lol Couldn't help singing along in the aisles to this one...don't think I ever moved as well as the people in the i though lol
I was too young to be clubbing in the 90s. But in Castle Hill there was a roller rink called Skate 2000 at the height of the rollerblading craze and that song went OFF whenever the blue light and disco ball came on for a skate. Kids were losing their minds, but with probably less drugs/alcohol.
That's ringing a bell. Where was the roller rink?
