What Floats Your Boat 4

I can hook you up with some ducks if you want some first hand experience :D

We've also got chickens, including a roster. I'd happily give him away right now. The more the prick crows at stupid hrs of the morning, the getting closer he gets to being turned into a roast. We've tried a few things to keep him quite, but he just can't help himself (I don't actually blame him; he's a roster, what do I really expect?). The latest thing we have is a collar. The premise being, if we restrict his ability to puff his neck out, he can't make a racket. I thought it sounded a bit cruel myself (he shits me, sure, but I'm not an arsehole about it). When my wife told me it was called cock ring (seriously), I just said collar the little bastard (after i stopped choking on my own laughter that is). I nearly choked again when my son (the one on the autism spectrum) asks what a cock run is.

Anyhow, Roster, with his own cock ring, if you want to experience first hand how awesome birds can be.

The “cock ring” needs to be 5 times smaller than roosters neck to stop crowing.....

lunch at ur place this Sunday dude?

:meep:

Not to be that person on the interwebz, but I assume you mean rooster? :P

Either way, your story is ******* funny

lol, yeah, well, fat fingers and typing on a phone and all that. Almost as annoying as being woken up by a bird making a racket. Almost

Edit: Nah, lets just be honest. My spelling skills are no better than my typing skills. :fool:

3ml of recorded rain overnight (Sydney Olympic Park weather station) better than nothing but a drop in the ocean considering our warm dry summer

I was out Canberra way at the weekend. Had a ride up to the Cotter river area as see nice wildlife around there. Bone dry, not a patch of green to be seen and very low. Need lots of rain...need widespread 2 to 4 days of heavy rain as just a starter and then follow up events.

These showers are welcome, but not doing much more than settling some dust on the coastal strip.

Not seen any snakes on my travels / walks yet. Sometimes do by late August. Cold snap from the other week has kept them in.

Or, you need to work it out yourself, like you always encouraged me to do.

Apparently my comedy stylings in the one lesson a fortnight of year 9 geography were not enough to seal the deal.

4 Corners interesting too...about Hong Kong protests.

Even though we've been seeing it on the News every night.

An absolutely extraordinary movement really.

Hard to know where this ends.

Tiananmen Square II

If we're lucky, protests will calm down like the Umbrella movement which somehow stopped after a while
