When I was like 12 my sister did an exchange thing with her school. They went to a Russian school for a few weeks and then later in the year the Russian girls came to the UK. My sister pretty out going and our house always open and all of these Russian girls aged 16-18 were in our house one night, like at least 15 of them all packed on the sofa, sat on the floor, all watching Dirty Dancing. **** the movie, I was in heaven, a few absolute stunners, and my mates were hanging around outside on their bikes I as taught a few words of Russian that night, good times. Apparently Middesbrough wasn't much of an improvement on the early 90's Soviet terminal decline era cities and towns....although they loved the fish n chips..so much so one kept on saying fish n chips over and over because she liked the sound. One of them squeezed my knee under the fish n chip cafe table and laughed with the girl next to her, I nearly ******* passed out.
