I love when the internet is used for it's intended purpose of making the world a smaller place

Ktoś tu może pracuje do późna? Radek Majewski dziś w nocy udzieli pierwszego wywiadu nt. wyjazdu do Australii już po lądowaniu w krainie kangurów! Warto więc posłuchać. ;) #ALeaguePL

Both he and Awer Mabil have the potential to inspire, and hopefully make a difference, to young kids within their community - and beyond. Pretty sure the item below has been posted before ( or something similar)-  but stories about both are inspiring to see reported.

FFA sets up heritage committee

"(Simon) Hill will be joined on the committee by his fellow commentator Andy Harper, publisher Bonita Mersiades, former Matilda Heather Garriock, former Socceroo Peter Katholos, author Trevor Thompson and Jamie Warren, chairman of the Johnny Warren Football Foundation.

Football historians Roy Hay and Ian Syson, and the prominent statistician Andrew Howe are among a panel of experts who will form a subcommittee to support the heritage committee".

Decent list of names to start off with.

This is most welcome, but has been a very long time coming. The first steps in what should be the detailed aggregation, description and display of our long football history - in words, images and objects - can soon begin. I am sure it will start with an assessment of what exists, then move through a chronological organisational phase, through in the medium term to online education. The ultimate and eventual hope would be an Australian Museum of Football, so that everyone can appreciate and be motivated by those involved with our version of the most beautiful of all games, over so many years.
