mack
Back home. Managed to get a free breakfast before they kicked me out lol. Feeling alright. Obviously it's still sore, but not much pain. Got a plate and half dozen screws in my wrist now. Edinburgh, JackDoff, EmMac and 2 others 5 Link to comment

mack
Bit of scrambled egg with was nice with the salt & pepper, bread with plum jam, orange juice. Would have had some cornflakes but the orderly showed up to take me to the discharge section and I was having trouble taking the cap off the milk so I let that go. mack
Had a 1 week post-surgery xray done yesterday. Got the print today. The radiologist doctor report seems to suggest there's no complications. On that second one you can see the break pretty clearly on both sides of the metal plate. Have to go for an appointment with the surgeon in another week or so. JackDoff, Edinburgh, Prydzopolis and 2 others 5 Link to comment

wendybr
In my garden, I just witnessed a fight to the death. Well I assume it was... Between a largish spider and a big redish/orange wasp. The wasp won....I'm pretty sure. Didn't watch til the end...didnt want to...and they went under a bush. Poor spider... Link to comment

Usually I can't...well if they are about animals devouring each other. Watched one on hippos the other night (well DA did the narration) They eat grass...so not too many bloodcurdlingly violent scenes, thankfully. Smoggy and Prydzopolis 2 Link to comment

I think the wasp is ready to take on me and a rolled up magazine. Prydzopolis
Did I post some stuff from Y2K a few weeks back? Thought I might have which was similar to the stuff in that article, Summarised, a lot of people & a lot of money went into making sure that Y2K wasn’t the potential disaster it could have been. Funny we live in an age where the spread of misinformation is spread so easily. Anywhere from vaccinations to even bushfires, nothing is off limits. wendybr 1 Link to comment
