last night a branch fell on my house roof and now my the roof is making creaking sounds......not a fan

An hour ago a half dead tree and half another tree came down in my front garden.

There have been emergency services sirens wailing almost non stop since the storm hit.

Wild storms - not a fan.

Nothing will be done about it though. The developers won't be fined or jailed, the builders won't be de-registered, the inspectors won't be fired. But the people who bought the houses will be screwed. They'll probably be told to pay the cost of repairs.

I used to think funnelwebs were an East Sydney problem until a few years ago when over in WA I saw a spider at work that looked a lot like one so got a stick and tapped it - only to see it rear up and show a mean set of fangs ready to snap back.

Got me wondering if they even have anti-venom / anti-venene (whatever it's called) in WA just in case.

Luckily haven't seen any here in Doonside, we probably have other spiders who'd bash them.
