Friendlies for A-League teams left in the Cup

Heartle$$ v Adelaide 2-0

Smurfs v Jets 2-1

have we played or are we playing another team other than our friendly with Melbourne Victory?

Apparently, Avondale we’re trying to sign Pirlo for a very short stint for their game against the smurfs which is on the same night as our game next Wednesday in Melbourne. Simon Hill was bemoaning the Stadium situation on the Fox Sports Website.

There are no more WSW games scheduled before the FFA Cup match. Found this on the Racing and Sports website....

The Wanderers' next assignment is also in Victoria, an FFA Cup clash with Melbourne City on September 19.

He (Babbel) said he hoped to bring a larger contingent, including injured Spaniards Oriol Riera and Raul Llorente, and German midfielder Alex Baumjohann, to AAMI Park.

"We have to work on getting them fully fit for this game because we need them," he said.

"It was a 50-50 situation and I preferred them to stay at home."

Who mandate FFA Cup prices

If it's FFA - get ready for $100 category A tickets...

Only 8000 seats.

We need to make sure those smurfs are kept to an absolute minimum.

Markus will be using the Newcastle game to set up the team. Hopefully not too many injuries.

penrith would be great but i can see a bigger stadium like anz getting the nod, especially falling on a fri or sat.

Penrith coppers are a pain in the ass when it comes to football matches here, imagine them bringing raptor 13/14/15 riot squad/more helicopters and the Australia Defence army if Penrith is the chose venue.
