Apparently, Avondale we’re trying to sign Pirlo for a very short stint for their game against the smurfs which is on the same night as our game next Wednesday in Melbourne. The Wanderers' next assignment is also in Victoria, an FFA Cup clash with Melbourne City on September 19. He (Babbel) said he hoped to bring a larger contingent, including injured Spaniards Oriol Riera and Raul Llorente, and German midfielder Alex Baumjohann, to AAMI Park. "We have to work on getting them fully fit for this game because we need them," he said. "It was a 50-50 situation and I preferred them to stay at home." Penrith coppers are a pain in the ass when it comes to football matches here, imagine them bringing raptor 13/14/15 riot squad/more helicopters and the Australia Defence army if Penrith is the chose venue.
