He would definitely be a liability to the Dems, The Republicans wouldn’t let it go...it would be all that talked about.

The candidate to watch is Pete Buttigieg. He is quite Impressive but I’m more sure the US would vote in a gay person, if I was frank.

Yes he said young but he's a real intellect. A Rhodes Scholar and has worked hard for his community. I don't think his youth will be too much of a disadvantage.

Fair enough - but remember that Tony Abbott is a Rhodes Scholar!

Not much of an advertisement for that particular qualification - lol.

Lol.

Truth has something to do with real things and facts.

Rudy Giuliani tells us that "truth is not truth".

If you don't worry about the truth any longer you can say anything. Trump's statement is another example of free speech gone mad.

Yes, making up your own facts is a very dangerous form of free speech, especially from the most powerful person in the world.

Yeah....nah.

I've seen too much of Uncle Creepo to buy that - and I'm TOTALLY someone who believes in hugging as a support, or a comfort.

But to see him fondling little kids' hair in photo ops standing alongside their parents  (no comforting needed) snuggling and seemingly sniffing women's and childrens' hair - it's not normal - to me. There's too much footage around. The Republicans would never let it go.

Generational change needed anyway.

Looks like 'Der Sturmer' might have an audience in 21st century Europe after all...the shades of Julius Streicher will be pleased.

Was going to ask the same.

Legia can be enigmatic most of the time....and just plain silly sometimes....if that's what he's referring to?

Well considering some of the comments here concerning Christianity, it’s not a massive mental leap.

Errrr...I beg to differ.

Attitudes to religion are one thing.

Attitudes to the loss of an 800 year old architectural masterpiece are something quite different.

It's tragic! :(

I suspect it is something to do with the Knights Templar and the Illuminati.

I think the comments here were more about the hierachy of the church and their behaviour than anything against religion.

Well if it is...we'll probably hear no more about it from Legia.

3 posts in quick succession and a dozen words (some rather  enigmatic) are just about the most we can expect. ;)

:D :D

Ridiculous. Who would celebrate the burning down of one of the worlds most remarkable buildings just because it’s a cathedral?
