mack Posted January 9 Lol idiot smurf hurts himself falling over trying to do a stupid tackle. Shame Chianese didn't send that across first time, Santalab would have had a 1v1 with failmayne. 3 Edinburgh, sonar and Neverbloom reacted to this

GunnerWanderer Posted January 9 Perth with some lethal quick attacking and finishing. Never though joel would make career after seeing him so useless at esfc popa working his magic again getting maximum out of his team. Hate to be one of those experts around here who said popa was finished and glad he went, his 6 points clear nearing half way and Castro hasn’t even hit form yet 5 lloydy136, wendybr, Unlimited and 2 others reacted to this

Hate to be one of those experts around here who said popa was finished and glad he went, his 6 points clear nearing half way and Castro hasn’t even hit form yet exactly. so it turns out that popa is actually a really good manager. who knew hey? i hope some of the muppets in our fanbase that were calling for his head as far back as season 3 have a bit of a look at themselves. he held the club together in the time he was here, hid the fact that they club didn't want to spend much by getting the max out of some pretty marginal a-league players - we have been a joke since he has left. we won't have anyone as good run our club for a long, long time imo. 6 Smoggy, Erdz, GunnerWanderer and 3 others reacted to this

Don't agree we have been a joke since he left. We where well on our way to becoming a joke whilst he was here, hence why he was happy to leave the club the week before season start. 1 sonar reacted to this
Burztur Posted January 9 Popa was still evolving as a coach. When WSW started, he came in and pushed the rest of the league. Then everyone caught up and we languished for a while. He left for Turkey but continued to develop. Now he is back with a bang. 4 tardotz, Smoggy, Edinburgh and 1 other reacted to this

I think Popa knew what was coming with the ground issues and management of the club...jumped at the opportunity to leave us for a shite club in Turkey.....he did leave us in the lurch like... 2 wendybr and sonar reacted to this

My only disapointment is that we wont be there in the GF with an opportunity to steal a GF from him so he misses out again..but if Perth can lock in a home final in the West they will take some beating... 2 sonar and tardotz reacted to this

With Santa it wasnt just about the goals...he made defenders lives hell...it was the attitude he brought which lifted those around him...a proper leader...and the kids loved him...i know my son did....why did we let him go :-( It is losing the likes of Santa that killed our club culture as much as the ground move. When Brosque does retire it will hit ESFc hard in the same way...as much as you might hate him he is exactly the kind of player we miss on and off the pitch... 6 Edinburgh, matty, tardotz and 3 others reacted to this
