Not this season. They have 40 yellow cards and we have 36

Everyone needs to chill, BS signed another one year deal with his MLS club.

These are the type of player (that fit the profile) that we need to attract to WSW.

Holtby can also play deeper, more of the #8 role that Mooy played for us when Shinji was here

Loveable character and has a serious engine but he simply couldnt play to a PL game plan. His ability and effort would make him an amazing HAL CM. Definite potential for a long term marquee if we are prepared to pony up the benjamins

My view he would have the potential to be at least a Broich type longevity

Sign Holtby and Ben Arfa as Marques. Nab Rhys Williams, Brad Smith and Marrone for defence. Get James Holland and Brattan. Get Gol Gol as back up and give Yeboah a red hot crack at striker.

---------------------Janjetovic--------------------

Marrone----Williams-----Ziegler----Smith

--------------Brattan-----Holland--------------

Mileusnic----------Holtby----------Ben Arfa

------------------Yeboah----------------------

BENCH:

Suman, Duke, Gol Gol, Russel / Tass, Baccus jnr

bye bye, Kamau, Elrich, Hammil, Odoherty, Fitz and the rest of the offcontracters bar some youngsters. Where will our parade be? :clapping:

Hahah yes, do it. It'll be great seeing sloppy Roly back in the middle of the park destroying attacks again.

Bossi - lol.

Every comment is speculation. Every. Single. One.

Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder Roly Bonevacia may yet play an A-League game under the guidance of coach Tony Popovic with Perth Glory

Quote

Leading the race for his signature is Perth Glory, with Popovic understood to be eager to be reunited with Bonevacia

Quote

It is understood a deal remains some way off however sources suggest

Quote

Perth are set to sign Melbourne City striker Bruno Fornaroli next season and could yet land another big foreign player to bolster their stocks. The league leaders only have four visa players on their books this season but could have even more options open next term should Andy Keogh and Fabio Ferreira obtain Australian citizenship in time. Veteran midfielder Diego Castro has been in fine form this season but is no certainty to continue playing. He is already 36, potentially opening up more options for the league leaders in the next transfer window.

    This whole paragraph!! LOL.

Paid to fill column space. Let's just make shite up, eh Dom?

If Roly had spent his previous time at an Aussie club so he could have had citizenship by now he'd prob be worth keeping, but as a visa.. no thanks.

Won't be shedding a tear if he goes. Way too inconsistent for a foreign spot.

The source is Roly's agent. Clubs rarely leak transfer/contract issues, but agents for players do all the time.

Goal is to drive up interest from other clubs, and perhaps see a higher offer.

Understand that and I know that's how it works.

But why would a journalist be a part of this façade? Besides getting a crap story for some column space? When are these journalists going to be held accountable, and why is this form of player bargaining through the media deemed acceptable?

Like you say, it's so they can push out a story in 10 minutes. They probably have a template that they knock in the names of the player, the main club and release it. They aren't going to be held accountable except by people not buying or visiting the stories.

Feel like this has been known in the club for a while.

Given our defensive woes this season perhaps the lack of getting in an injury replacement at the early signs of his poor state, suggests the club had written off this season early on.

Seems to be what has happened. Club keeping the powder dry for next season.

I think from what i've heard they are going to do the logical thing and open the new stadium next season with quite a few top level players and hopefully deliver the club's first A-League Championship in the first year of the new stadium.

Thoughts on a new goalie? Should we keep the untrustworthy Vedran?
