There’s more than 2 strikers in our price range off contract. Not even end of the season yet. Riera has time to prove that his performance was due to **** team mates, score another 4 in the last 4 games. Let him prove he wants to be here.

Failing something like that we go find a new striker in the off season. It’s a LONG way from stress out time.

Scott is gone. MB's recent team selections would suggest that Tokich, Fitzgerald and Nizic (appear to be training with the team) and Sotirio are not making the cut any longer, and that the four of them will be moved on. The future of Risdon and Bridge is clear. Unless the number of imports is bumped up and the cap is adjusted accordingly (or imports are excluded from the cap), Riera, Roly, Treejack, and Llorente all appear to be gone.

That would be 11 departures already.

?? behind Hamill, GG, and Mahazi, but as MB will not have the next HAL campaign derailed by the U23 tournament in January. He will want to have ample U23 players in the squad, and I'd say all three will remain. Iff they play like they did against City then no arguments from me.

And then there's Janjetovic. No doubt he's done some damage to his reputation, he has cost team and club. Without his most obvious brain snaps we'd have six points more. If MB sees him as a liability, and if the pool of imports is increased to seven, then I am expecting an overseas goalkeeper to join. Adler, Kraft and Rensing are all on the market.

Marc Torrejan may have signed with the club. On Alex Baumjohhan's instagram, he commented on a video saying something around the lines of "When am I coming to your team?" Something hinting he has signed with the club. He follows Riera and Alex. Currently plays for Berlin in Bundesliga 2.

Isn't Mark Tokich injured?  I haven't seen enough of him to know whether he's worth keeping, apart from the shocker against Newcastle

Izzo a great penalty stopper, but vulnerable from free kicks.

The club posted a video of a training session this week, and he was with the team. Earlier this season MB made a comment about him which suggested that he sees him as a squaddie. We'll know soon enough.

His contract is up in June so could be a possibility. He's played for some decent clubs previously in Germany and Spain.

Tokich you would be ok to keep him for another season he isn't ready for A-league just yet. Still young and we have seen flashes but his last game was absolute shocker where gave two penalties to Newcastle. Not all his fault but would be damaging to his confidence and is probably why he has been out of the team. Babbel has been doing that to Tate Russel as well managing him to keep confidence up.

It's nowhere near as simple or as easy as that. Hard to move on players when they've got a contract (in some cases with 2+ years left) & the club is not willing to pay them out or compensate them. 

They are bringing in 2 keepers, 1 a former socceroo (already mentioned in this thread) - tbh not sure if he's signed on the dotted line but he's close if he hasn't.

Marc Torrejon messaged me saying he is good friends with Alex and Ori. He said that Australia is one of his options and he has been talking with the two about it. He could potentially be coming over although hasn't decided yet.

I think it's an A League wide thing, get your Agent to drop a rumour about you signing for WSW if you're looking for a good contract extension.

Also Tokich was being touted as the next Viduka, what the hell happened there ?
