Yeah i mean they weren't saints. I believe a few tried to bring smokeys into the ground and fair enough they were denied entry but it's the heavy-handed nonsense in response to things like bad language and then the somewhat amusing sight of numerous cop cars escorting the tram with guys on it back into town that makes it laughable. Reminds me of the Sheriff in a western kicking unwanteds out of town to the city limits🤣

There is a second video 7news showed along with that video that shows punches and people being hit, i checked the 7news site but the story is gone. Hopefully it will come to nothing but this is sokah so expect the worst.

I lived in Adelaide for most of 2016 so Reds home matches were a common thing for me.

100% the Adelaide casuals would have started it, they did it every single match I went to. Trying to prove some kind of point.

And +10 to Harper. Talks up Isais as a Socceroo (lol) and lets all the hacking go unchecked but when a WSW player is called for a soft foul (barely a foul) its "THIS IS A YELLOW AT MINIMUM, STAMP IT OUT!!"

Normally I don't mind some of Harper's comments but his bias was all on show during this game. The best part about it was him being silent for a good 3 minutes late into the game when we were winning 3-1. You could almost hear his jaw clenching or his teeth grinding as we showed a very professional 2nd half to shut out Adelaide. We got no praise from him though.If it was SFC he would have been praising the performance as the greatest of the season.

..........and they will never ever publish the crap that fans of the AFL or SANFL get up to. Some of it is disgusting. I lived there for a decade and saw a lot of **** that never got reported.....bashings of opposition fans, cars trashed or "coined",intimidation, bullying.....etc

I saw a video from last away trip where Wanderers supporters were chanting after a cop searched them for flares at a pub or something.  It could be that the local cops felt humiliated and wanted to get their own back?

Ive mentioned before that he was super pumped to come to us & wanted to score some goals but we never saw the best from him. To be honest, he was wasted on the wing but since he has come into midfield we have seen a different Roly. Happy for him, but has come to late, the season is over & we have nothing to play for with 8 games left but pride.

The issue? Roly is a visa player & you need more out of your visa players. You won’t win things with how he was playing last year. The only was we keep him is if he signs on with a medium to low wage. Can’t see it happening.

I love Majok the way that I am a big fan of Sotirio. The guy tries hard, puts in every match & that’s all you can ask. Every squad has squaddies, if we don’t have any younger players coming through then maybe he can take up one of the squad spots on minimum wage.

Love the way he celebrated that goal, you saw how much it meant to him. Would have loved to see him jump into a packed active section as a few years ago. The only issue, we just scored our third in a point in the season where we have nothing on the line. A+ for passion/heart

On the game:

- This is probably our worse game in the last 2-3 months, we were pretty horrible. Our goals weren’t that deserved but we scored & managed to keep right at the back. Scored from a set piece (did that really happen ), scored off a deflection (did we finally get a bit of luck ) & did Majok put away a really classy finish (again  but full credit to him).

- How nice was it that we didn’t capitulate? Managed to hold on to our lead. Not having to stress for the entire second half that me might concede even in the last minute of injury time

- A KGJ assisted VAR decision didn’t lead to another loss (no issue with the pen, what was Hamil thinking leaving a leg hanging out in the box, but how was it referred when I’ve seen more clear cut pen decisions not referred, just pot luck it seems)

Majok will forever frustrate me because there are moments in the game where he will make good passes (through ball for Kamau for Wanderers 2nd goal) and lay-offs expertly when his back is to goal. And then there are the moments like his head is in Disneyland and you wander how he made it through our Youth team and then he scores that chip goal against Adelaide in this game and you get confused how his capable of that quality because that was difficult shot.

Re the eviction etc.

When I was at the Gov pre-game I was told by someone that the boys were prepped for pyro if or when we scored. I had no idea who that was nor who were the actives as (a) it's been almost a year since I was in the RBB myself and (b) no one had much gear on identifying they were RBB (in fact I only saw a couple of guys with WSW merch...a few with AMOK & but the rest were in usual black, Nike gear).

Those lads arrived at the ground later than me & plenty of other non-actives & all was okay until the smoky went off. From what I could see the local seccos were guarded in their dealings with the actives up to that point, aside from asking a few of the lads to settle down occasionally (which was complied with no probs). Then when the smoky went off the seccos moved in but it took a good 2-3 minutes before the coppers acted. To be honest it all seemed chilled then bang...they were gone. Funnily enough one of the younger lads who was part of the actives was missed by the cops, and he joined a few other travellers in trying to rally the remainders with chants, WDWSF etc.

There was an incident where a local fan threw some racial abuse at what I thought was originally Majok, but turned out to be one of our travelling fans, calling him a Lebo **** (when he was in fact Italian/Aboriginal). The cops went up to him & engaged with him for about 5 minutes before walking away leaving him in place.

There's no doubt that the smoky was planned & started things off, but the eviction seems to have come out of nowhere.

Exactly my feelings..sometimes he leaves you scratching your head as to how the hell he became a pro footballer, anything could happen with him in the future...my punt is ends up in a CCM shirt.....

MB's has been complaining since day 1 on our lack of defensive awareness........I saw our players on multiple occasions put their bodies on the line to block a shot.....it's what been missing in previous games. Kudos to the team and the manager for getting it right.

This community could probably do well to remember these are mostly young guys who are putting in the hard yards. It’s even more respectable when you see the beginnings they have come from. I’ll put my hand up to say I’m not always the kindest in my moments of frustration with simple mistakes but the most we can hope is that he is learning from them.

If Abe decides to to focus on the weakest part of his game this off season, he will be an impressive footballer. He’s definitely got the right coach to help him work on the fundamentals.

I already have a healthy level of respect for him when he knocked back CCM to stay here despite less money and less game time. Genuinely hope he doesn’t fall by the wayside

Take King Bridge, I remember playing him as kids in youth league. His shooting was beyond a joke but he had everything in the build up. Now, all we want is westie that finishes like Bridge. As a young lad he addressed his weakness. Lets hope Abe does the same.
