Memberships 2019/20

Is everyone else getting on the membership website that there are still no events in your account, ergo you can't manage / transfer your tickets?

Can't make it to the first game (corporate event on the sunshine coast) but have mates that want to take them off my hands

I'm a <1200 member number and mine turned up a week and a half ago so it seems like member number doesn't make a difference.

Seen a few people on twitter today complaining that their packs hadn't arrived yet so I guessing it's more than a handful of people.

It's not a good look

A couple of weeks ago  every member should have received an email letting them know their membership packs were due to arrive.  Attached to the email was a ticket for members to print for instances such as losing your card, etc.  You could forward this email to them to print out.  These tickets will last all season and are not just for one game, but this is an option for you.

Thanks for posting!

Lovely! :hi:

Harry's a great football bloke - was supporting the Socceroos in the 60s and 70s when there were more supporters of the opposition than Australia at the games! His son Mal and I are good mates and the whole extended family have done a lot for football support over the years. Harry was with us for the first few years at most Wanderers games I remember his excitement when we won our first derby and the first leg of the ACL at Parra. He's slowed up a bit in recent years and the whole S.O.P. thing didn't help but we're hoping he'll get to a few games this year. Good on the club for showing a bit of reverse-loyalty!

At least they kept hold of your pack for you to collect. Mine was left fully exposed on the front doorstep, which led to let another complaint to AusPost 🙂.

That said, at least with the availability of the digital membership cards I know the club could hopefully cancel a physical card and give me a replacement link for the digital wallet if required.

Some reasonable performances from most of the clubs in the last two weeks.

  • Reds: up nearly 25% but in a one club city with a long history of decent results should be doing better yet again
  • CCM...17% up but they have such a low base & have been guilty of underperforming for years, so guess that's pretty good
  • Jets with a 10.5% rise should be welcomed. For all the issues they've had as a club in the last decade, and considering the size of their market etc, they are one of the best performing HAL clubs around.
  • Perth: 13% rise is not bad, and of course they're performing better thanks to their 2018/19 success.
  • Nux up a whopping 32% in the last two weeks...should be very happy with that. I wonder if the Return of Rudan helped things
  • We're up 11% which isn't bad. The return to Wanderland and the upcoming derby must've helped, and the aggressive membership promotion by the club has been good.
  • Western United...wonder how their numbers stack up against ours in 2012/13. Reckon they might not be too far off at a similar stage.

The other clubs all had sub 10% improvement, with Victory & Smurfs both approximately getting only 5% more. Considering that Victory are twice the size of the smurfs in membership you can suggest they have possible market saturation sorted (one more rival club than ESFC in Melbourne). Pretty piss-poor effort from ESFC though maybe they're learning what happens when you don't have a real home ground for three seasons. City (8%) and Brisbane (6.5%) are a little better...reckon Roar should be a little unhappy considering the club rebuild & bringing in Fowler as coach.

We had 2,500 members 2 weeks out from our first home game in 2012/13.
