Better than not bad imo.

ScoMo just handed Shorten a chance to come across very well...and unchallenged (by not showing up).

Guess Libs don't watch Q&A anyway...but Shorten manoeuvered a way through some tricky questions...and came across very well across the board, I thought.

It was always going to be just Shorten tonight wendy. They offered Morrison his own gig next week.....he has declined to face the people.

Oh OK..…..well ….more fool him. They've both done 7.30.

I guess that was enough oxygen to give the ABC, for Morrison.

I wasn't even planning to watch last night...but it was both a relief and actually inspiring to see him in action.

Not that there's much point in allowing oneself to get sucked into being "inspired" by politicians....but I guess a bit of hope doesn't go astray now and then. ;)

Yes how dare low paid workers want penalty rates, for working weekends.

But but, won't somebody please think of the Banks...CEO of an Aust Bank received only $17 million pay last financial year and the Gov wants to give this CEO a Tax break. I mean who needs a Banking Royal Commission.

Yep.......Give 1m people $10pw and it will get spent in the local economy....give 1000 people $10k per week and they'll buy a ferrari...good for ferrari....not for the economy..

That dude is a self-help book/seminar scammer who pushes idiotic over-leverage strategies & advocating illegal actions like insider trading.

And the content of that video is utter trash. The rich don't "give things away" to get rich, they take and have wrecked the economy over and over again for hundreds of years in the process. What did the GFC CEO's who got trillion dollar bailouts after causing havoc with sub-prime mortgages followed by none of them going to jail "give" to anyone except ruination? What did the men who caused the Great Depression give to the world except the ingredients for Fascism?

The percentage of wealth concentrated by the wealthiest is rising at an astonishing rate, what are they giving back? They aren't giving back tax, because they hide it all in Panama or the Cayman Islands or route it all over the planet to reduce it to nothing & their 'charity' are scams for tax breaks. What a load of absolute garbage. I feel sorry for anyone who gets sucked into that nonsense and wastes their money on his books and seminars.

Only a week to go - and I'm getting excited.

Went to the Time's Up Tony rally last weekend....I wonder if they can do it??

Unfortunately there are 800 fewer Instagram followers than when I first tuned in to this campaign - but I hope that's not a sign that he is gaining support.

The newspaper clipping used as one of the latest posts is worth checking out - lol.

And the best part is that those who (arguably) are being exploited/short changed/carry the burden, have somehow been employed to protect a system that has been established to make the wealthy even wealthier, and keep the poor just that - poor.

Even though the neo liberal project has come to an end in the global finance crisis, it is still walking, like a zombie. Murdoch and his political arm continue to keep this broken system on life support, for no other reason than their own power and financial gains. We are collectively losing our humanity in the process. Question this status quo and you are called communist, socialist etc.

That’s the upside of voting early. If any of the AEC officials or the how to vote people mention it you can reply with “As I always say, vote early and vote often” then just walk away and see how they react.

Most people around where i live have been voting already for 3 weeks. The wife voted 2 weeks ago. Line out of the door most of all this week.

They are clearly adhering to the old adage (from my Irish Grandma) "Vote early and Vote often"

My mum is one of those loud mouths that says hello to anyone and she said 'hello' and about how nice it was around here...bit of an exchange about it being nice weather and he wished them a good holiday...i just sat there wanting to die.
