Have you ever bought a ticket with the stand name on it?

I think for simplicity yes but we should always have it for pure aesthetic purposes

Maybe Popa, Bridge, Topor and Shinji can get stands, and Ante a statue of The Save.

Instead of a stand, every back row in the stadium needs to be named after NTS.

How apt, only Topor knew how to either boot the ball out of the stadium or hit Row Z whenever we were in any danger at the back

We've had some good nights celebrating victories at Wanderland, but nothing on this level. Would be fun trying to replicate this at Wanderland 2.0

That’s cute.

FFA uses a picture of Bankwest Stadium for the FFA Cup posting on their website!

The fact it's still looking like that after Union has been played there is pretty impressive

I saw on fb today that the Wanderers are asking for volunteers to attend a photo shoot in the new safe standing area.

I can just see the Riot squad turning up too. So they can have some pre season practice :)

Surprised it’s taken til March to host a concert tbh.

In fairness, the pitch has held up pretty well so far but a concert will be the ultimate test

Spotless is going to be empty for months and instead of playing there he comes to our stadium in the middle of our A-League season.

Wonderful.

Concerts destroy pitches. The only good thing is that it isn't some bogan motorcross/monster truck event. Newcastle had one of those and it annihilated the pitch.

An Elton John concert is going to be at Bankwest Stadium on March 7th 2020.

How will the pitch hold up? Hopefully better than Spotless.

It's sad, so sad... it's a sad sad situation and it's getting more and more absurd.

It would be nice if every now and then there was some sort of pride in the presentation of our pitches but overall no one really seems to care. As long as it’s got some shade of green and reasonably flat, that seems to be enough.

I would’ve thought Elton John could fill ANZ, BankWest seems too small for someone of his fame tbh

So who’s sticking to stereotype and going to the stadium tomorrow morning?

Re. the pitch, hopefully it’s not going to be a long, long time until it’s back to spec. But, at worst, the reputation of the ground as a premier location will still be standing, better than it ever did, after the concert.
