Andy Keogh is supposedly getting "the treatment" at perth

From Popa or the club accountant?

Still don’t know how they’re affording him amongst all the other players they have...

They just re-signed him 2 months ago why would you do that if you had cap issues, especially in a season where everyone is getting a lot of extra cap room.

Davidson gone would have opened some cap space.

Spira and Jedinak would make our defence unbelievable. I would rather a foreign marquee striker, but Keogh wouldn’t be half bad

The marquee striker at xmas would cost the club a lot less and you could loan one out of favour player , and stay in budget ,while improving team , new memberships, shirts sales ,marketing, supporter confidence, crowd numbers , owner satisfaction .food sales etc

WSW are going to win the title

Checked the odds at the casino yesterday.  Gone from $13 a few weeks ago to $10 now.  Also was having a chat to one of the bartenders.  Turns out he was Polish and supports Lech Poznan.  I mentioned to him him the tradition at the Wanderers of doing the Poznan and he seemed quite bemused.

Not worried about the budget, and not interested in waiting till Christmas for a marquee. We need someone here impacting the results early

I got on at $14 about a month ago with Sportsbet

$21 to win the FFA Cup was overs, but the injury to Duke has made our task more difficult against Perth in Rnd 32

He was on 200k - 250k a season when he wanted to move to WSW, to play under Popa.

I read a few days back that Perth are likely to be missing several regulars for various reasons

Here it is from The Football Sack

Chris Ikonomidis (shoulder), Dino Djulbic (ACL), Alex Grant (abdomen) and Dane Ingham (foot) are all either rehabbing injuries or working their way back to full fitness.

Diego Castro and Juande are also doubtful for the last 32 encounter, with the former only recently returning to Perth while the latter has been in Spain for the birth of his child.

Central defender Matthew Spiranovic’s future is still up in the air; the Socceroo joined Glory on a one-year contract in 2018 and has yet to pen a deal for the upcoming campaign.

Perhaps the most intriguing absentee is striker Andy Keogh who has yet to be included by Popovic and is currently training on his own away from the club’s facilities.

If we picked up both of those old boys we'd be pretty solid.

If the monkey emoji is the only clue, then I'm gonna say it's king kong. Heard he's got a gigantic left foot. Pun intended.

Doesn't mean he landed at the new Western Sydney Airport.

You can land anything there except a helicopter. I drive past western side of the site every weekday atm so there's no runway, control tower and still has power lines through it.

Well out of our price range. Might need to wait until they are well into their 30's before we can talk to them.

Here's someone younger. Might fit Babbel's mentality and in our price range plus good experience

There has been some chat about us signing a younger option, if plans A, B, etc don't come to fruition.
