teddies
Nike arent going to provide bespoke designs to us, unlike clubs like barca, right? So we only have a choice of a few hoop variations I remember this being mentioned a few years ago. 1 minute ago, lloydy136 said: Sticking with my season 1 Shinji jersey it is then. Mine's framed! andypk
I’m going to buck the trend here and say I like it. It’s certainly not our best shirt as our season 2 shirt and last seasons black shirt were quality but nonetheless I think it’s a 7/10 shirt. octa9ona11, EmMac and SteveB 3 Link to comment
Zelinsky
At least it's red and black, and not orange. SteveB, Wanderboy and EmMac 3 Link to comment

102megan
Not a fan, and as per previous years, looks like no Ladies’ cut for the jerseys. WSW are claiming it’s a homage to S1’s jersey - but I can’t see it?? Different shade of red, size of the hoops aren’t similar, back of the jersey is different. Looking forward to the RBB merch. for this year! teddies, Edinburgh and tardotz 3 Link to comment
Tranquilo
i'll get used to it, not my flavour but seems we are gradually going from being red and black to black and red. Link to comment
Midyandy
Terrible, two shirts in one, top half same as last season, bottom half meh to say the least. At least its not orange.... StringerBellend and Prydzopolis 2 Link to comment
Taurus
I get the edgey launch, but you need to have the wears (in this case a decent kit) to back it up. Btw, whats doing with the nose ring models? I'd support the lads if they were wearing red & black rags, so whilst I'm not a fan of the new kit, so be it StringerBellend, GunnerWanderer, LeeMarvin and 9 others 12 Link to comment

Also for this type of photography the lighting is terrible. Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment
octa9ona11
Well, I'm going to go against the majority and say I rate it!! It definitely looks retro but it looks awesome I think. Would everyone prefer a Huddersfield style kit instead?? 😂😂 EmMac, Prydzopolis, StringerBellend and 2 others 4 1 Link to comment
echidna
ZachMercer is right - that mixing of smaller lower bands and broader higher ones is an echo of 1980s t-shirt design - though here, in this day and age and on our football shirt, it really does not work. Oh well, at least the team has every chance of playing better than they look! Edinburgh, Prydzopolis and ZachMercer 3 Link to comment

This is the second time our and the a league logo look squashed into the top strip with no negative space (top and bottom), like shirts are ordered as blanks then someone works out how to fit it all in. Edinburgh
There's always the next season to look forward to! I was really hoping they would move back to a more classic design a la our first 3 or 4 seasons. They've lost the plot the past few years. 102megan
Oh, I do have a positive thing to say!!! Well done to WSW for timing the announcement to *before* the match against Leeds - with the jerseys to be available to purchase at the game! pseudonym, EmMac and HillsWanderer 3 Link to comment

Hughesy
It’s a double edged sword being with Nike. You have to deal with occasionally **** templates but the jerseys are cheaper to purchase. The price of replica jerseys from some of the smaller independent manufacturers is ridiculous. Ive seen some rugby league jerseys upwards of $150... Prydzopolis 1 Link to comment

I always buy mine at the end of the season when Peter Wynn sells them for 50 bucks. That might change in future though when I know with the new Independent A-League, the clubs will get a greater cut from kit sales. I'd rather my money go to the club than the FFA or Nike.
