Song association (a musical version of word association)....anyone?

From Suumer Rain to Summer Breeze.

Any era, any genre...just a song association...in your mind.

Ooooh I have the snatch of something in my head but I just can't grasp it.

This will have to do

"

They say the sun
Comes up every morning
And if you listen carefully
The winds that ride
On the high tide
Whistle a melody
"

"Darkness.... seems to cover the world".

Robbie Shakespeare with one of his very best basslines, an absolute joy to play. My go to line in the guitar shop

Well it only took about an hour and a half but here is the song I was after earlier - more the feeling of the sunshine and breeze. All I had was a chord progression and the feeling that it was probably some piece of some laidback 1960s soul.

^^This one is :good:

I'm thinking you yongsters won't find too many songs with "groovy" or "groovin'"... but Marron's reminded me of this... but there is another I can think of.

PS No lists of songs...just post a "song associiation"

😁

Yep, that song was nothing but the one hook, but it was a pretty good one.

^Nice one marron!

Hundreds of song associations in those poetic  lyrics, but from Bleecker St to Baker St ...came through strongest.
