Canberra play tomorrow and the focus then will be the team and its performance against the Heart, but today... It’s bucket hats for all Canberra United members this year. Thankfully they have multiple sizes so I was able to get one that fits, too!

Wanderers won despite the officiating.

Smurfs won.

Heartle$$ v Canberra so the best result for the Wanderers is a draw.

However, if Canberra beat Heartle$$ that would be ok.

A sitter missed and a penalty conceded in the closing minutes. The Heart were the better side overall (as you’d expect with a large contingent of Matildas, as well as Kyah Simon!), but Canberra on the counter looked quite good and the team appears to have gelled reasonably well for one that came together so late.
