Most shops in Sydney seem to have enough now too and with rationing of 1 or 2 packs each, we should be okay.

We are ok for TP but not seen any for weeks around where i live so would love to know where these most shops are.

I bought some paper towels in the week and i had them under my arm as i was walking out the centre. An elderly lady came up to me thinking they were TP and had to disappoint her, she seemed desperate.

If it had been a pack of TP under my arm i would have given her them all without cost or question.

Yeh I’ve been to a few shopping centers around Westmead (Norwest, Carlingford, Winston hills) & no TP. Hopefully things come back to normal soon,

At least things that had disappeared are now coming back like meat section & long life stuff

We shop at the same places. We should have a trolly race down a row.....but my wife already gets the shits with me for pissing around with the trolly and not concentrating.

She sent me off to get something last week but after wandering along for maybe 20secs humming something i had forgotten what is was lol

Supermarkets at Baulkham Hills have had toilet paper the last two weeks, but I've always gone to the shop first thing in the morning on a Thursday or Friday (definitely wouldn't try the weekend). I've found the best time to shop is midweek (after deliveries have come in from the weekend) and first thing in the morning.

Voiding the season (if season had to be cancelled) and stripping ESFC of any title would  make me laugh very loudly for a long while....

We went to Burwood Westfields to go to Coles and Woolies. They still don’t have any cleaning products though like hand wash.

I was pleased to hear the CMO say that the aim of all the restrictions is suppression of the virus.

I don’t want to jump ahead of ourselves & say we are on top of things but finally looks like measures taken to flatten the curve are working. That one big day of cases 212 (Friday?) but apart from that cases now not increasing so quickly. 117 cases today for NSW

Some good news, measures put in place two weeks ago seem to be taking effect :good:

This is wonderful news, glad that the “herd immunity” theory is out the window.

The fitting on the garden hose broke yesterday. Possibly the single best thing that has happened in the last 3 weeks, as i got to escape the mad house to get a replacement.

Numbers still declining according to ABC and SMH.

Our borders will still need to be closed for a good while and new arrival issues. BUT it might be that within Australia we can get back to something like normal soon...

The way things are declining here perhaps by early May possibly some behind close door games starting up?

Words are funny things aren't they.

The numbers aren't declining. The daily rate of new cases has declined the last couple of days. Right?

Yes, they'll do that when you smash them with a hammer.

So, two essential trips/escapes, the first was to buy the hammer.
