Seems like they’ve missed the deadline, they now need to apply to get an exemption. Could be a 3 day wait!

I just heard Bozza say Melbourne CBD is midnight. The rest of Victoria is Tuesdays but most likely they will need an exemption. Time for James Johnson to get on the phone to the NSW Premier.

He should actually get on the phone to Peter Vlandys first and get some tips.

Why are we so slow to sort this shite out?

Vlandys got the Melbourne Storm out of Vic more than a week ago. He could see it coming. Why does it take our dinosaurs so long to get it right? Blind Freddy could see this coming with the numbers increasing daily.

More like Melb Victory & Heartle$$ demanding games in Melbourne twisting JJ's and O'rourke's arms.

Melbourne residents are now banned from entering New South Wales, as the state began strict border closures in response to the growing coronavirus outbreak in Victoria.

And from tonight, all Victorians will only be able to enter NSW for very limited reasons, such as obtaining medical care or fulfilling a legal obligation.

NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said from 12.01am today, a NSW HotSpot Order was extended to residents from Greater Melbourne.

Previously it had only been applicable to people who lived in Melbourne's coronavirus postcode hotspots.

The military will help police secure the dozens of roads across the border, with drones also to be used.

The final train from Melbourne to Sydney will arrive at Central Station at 7am today.

Victoria’s three teams cancelled a trip to NSW for the second night i

For the second time in two nights, Victoria’s three teams have aborted a flight across the border into New South Wales.

Melbourne Victory, Melbourne City and Western United were set to fly to Canberra on Tuesday night after being granted exemptions by the NSW government to cross the border to complete the season in Sydney.

However, their plans to fly to Canberra have been scuppered, with the ACT government informing them they will need to quarantine for 14 days without training if they land in the nation’s capital, according to Fox Sports News’ James Dodd.

They could be in Brisbane by now if they just got in the team bus yesterday morning and drove...

The season could have been done and dusted now if they got on with it quickly from early June. Now they are going to have to fiddle with this between covid flare ups and **** ups. The best window of opportunity might have just gone.

Attempt 1 gets scuppered by the weather in Canberra.

Attempt 2 they try to get on the plane to Canberra and then realise that ACT has a different status to NSW and would require a 2 week individual quarantine.

Reports out there in SMH and News Ltd papers that NSW Health has granted the exemption to Victoria A-league teams.

I have used my free quota for SMH so can't post

Thank god. Now get them here and let's get this season restarted.

What a complete embarrassment this has been for our sport. FFA proving once again how incompetent they are.

Reports are though they’ll be housed in dorm style accommodation, 4 per room! Something you’d expect from primary school not the highest/elite competition in our country!

Don't think matters when some grassroots clubs don't even have dressing sheds. They have to suck it up.

The reason for this is apparently that they need to be in a location that is both accommodation and a training base. As you can imagine that type of thing is pretty rare.
