In truth I think we should probably play either 4-2-3-1 or another variety of 4-3-3. But Robinson will figure that out based on the cattle available. We don't have the talent to play 3 at the back and either get exposed too often or sit too defensive and lose the midfield. 4-4-1-1 worked for Juventus this morning. They played without CR7. Maybe Robinson could go 4-1-3-2 but we need a decent DM Link to post

A back four where he can provide overlapping runs as required but isn't the sole source of width on one side may suit him more. The whole team kept running out of gas, the conditioning last season was atrocious. There were a number of games where we’d piece together some nice play in the first 10-20 mins and then be absolutely cooked for the rest of the game. It’s not good enough. wendybr, Edinburgh, sonar and 2 others 5 Link to post

Erebus
He shouldn't be taking up a VISA spot. Waste of a VISA spot imo and hasn't been consistent or solid for us to justify a VISA spot. sonar, StringerBellend and alexd 3 Link to post

THEWANDERERSPOST
Never knew Ugarkovic was only 26! A must pick-up, very underrated Australian CDM. Already knows Robinson and suits his style very well. Would fit in back home very well. I noticed during last and this off-season he was at a place called First Phase Football where he would further develop his fundamentals. Burgerman
Wouldn't be surprised if he brings someone from mls for a CAM but could depend on visa issues or could be a good 1 year deal with mls covid19 issues with signings and working permits for South America players. Having him connected to a decent agency may bear fruit compared to jp being a c*** and no one wants to come here. I'm still pissed off with losing Sulivan and he will shine at glory and probably be the signing of the season. With the way our club is so corporately oriented not expecting much for signings and i wonder if Robbo will even get a decent budget. VedranRozic 1 Link to post

The problem is this...the MLS final is on 12th December, 2020 and some players are signed until 31st December, 2020. I think the MLS clubs doesn't announced their released players till January 2021 and the A-League commences on 27th December 2020. If Carl was to sign someone from the MLS, they would have to get them to quickly adept to the team's formation and how they play. Personally, there's one player Carl should be look at signing from MLS that's a CAM, and that's 28 year old Nicolas Mezquida. When he was at Vancouver, he was the penalty kick and free kick specialist and produced some great goals. I think he does the free kicks and penalty kicks for Colorado Rapids which is where he is currently signed. The only other option I would say (and I think I've said it before) would be 28 year old Jordan Mutch who is currently a free agent. I used to enjoy watching him play at Cardiff (35 games: 7 goals and 6 assists during the 13/14 Premier League season) and then he got transferred to QPR (sadly, he didn't do well there due to a thigh injury). He did well at K-League and in the AFC Champions League while playing with Gyeongham FC (12 games, 2 goals). Edited October 23, 2020 by MathyouWSW MistahCampoy and Burgerman 2 Link to post
Upthehill
Jordon Mutch would be a great option. He’d settle in just fine with the physical football. Potential longer term option even under the current financial strain Edited October 23, 2020 by Upthehill MathyouWSW 1 Link to post

Avid sports list that could be possible https://www.transfermarkt.com/avid-sports-amp-entertainment-group/beraterfirma/berater/4959 As for the transfer timing i think there is special exemptions because of the the covid19 but visa issues are a problem and the lure of a lesser covid19 exposed country/league. It happened at least 5-10 times during the season & the guy was bewildered that the AR didn’t raise his flag. Don't the players get updated on the new LOTG? Link to post
