Re Kamau, wasn't sure if the tweet  meant he was training with Adelaide or the player.

Just that he's in Adelaide (home city?) at the moment and training alone is how I interpreted it.

In the words of Mike Bassett: 4 - 4 - ******* 2!

In truth I think we should probably play either 4-2-3-1 or another variety of 4-3-3. But Robinson will figure that out based on the cattle available. We don't have the talent to play 3 at the back and either get exposed too often or sit too defensive and lose the midfield.

4-4-1-1 worked for Juventus this morning. They played without CR7.

Maybe Robinson could go 4-1-3-2 but we need a decent DM

Agree, I think he went back home while the boarders are open and still leaves the opportunity to come back to the club.

Training has restarted so he'd better get back quick smart if he's still keen !!

Yeah he kept running out of gas at the end of games and that led to him being caught up the field too often leaving gaps at the back. A back four where he can provide overlapping runs as required but isn't the sole source of width on one side may suit him more.

The whole team kept running out of gas, the conditioning last season was atrocious. There were a number of games where we’d piece together some nice play in the first 10-20 mins and then be absolutely cooked for the rest of the game. It’s not good enough.

I do remember that Ziegler can play at CDM (although its not seen how well). Maybe he will start there instead.

I've also heard that Tass thinks he is a CDM but is best at CB. Bit strange but thats what i've heard from a few players.

Ziegler really should be staying where ever he is... Wrong type of player that shouldnt be taking up a a potential aussie's spot.

He shouldn't be taking up a VISA spot. Was good business to buy him and naturalise him after 6-12 months but I don't think that has happened yet. Waste of a VISA spot imo and hasn't been consistent or solid for us to justify a VISA spot.

As if we are going to replace him with a different Visa player anyway.

I've heard that the becoming an Aussie thing became too hard because of the (standard) requirements of Germany, and Patrick has given up on it.

That is the most un-German and Aussie response to admin ever

”You want screen shots!? Yeah nah **** that”

Give him his passport. He’s passed the test

I don’t think Ziegler is worth wasting a visa spot nor do I rate him much overall but he’d be a much better player if he shut up and stopped abusing the referee every 5 mins. He and Georgevski were serial offenders for it last season.

When is WSW gonna announce their new OS player that we have never heard of.

So WSW release a highlight reel of the player doing basic **** on twitter.

WSW fans go nuts over it and by the end of the season that player becomes a massive disappointment.

Rumours that we are circling Ugarkovic. That would be a very good get.

Ugarkovic is a Westie (grew up in Baulkham Hills). it would be a great additive to the club if Robbo managed to get him signed to the Wanderers. Him and Baccus would be a great duo for CDM.

Never knew Ugarkovic was only 26! A must pick-up, very underrated Australian CDM. Already knows Robinson and suits his style very well. Would fit in back home very well.

I noticed during last and this off-season he was at a place called First Phase Football where he would further develop his fundamentals.

Baulko! Sign him up! He's a decent midfielder and would improve the squad.

Wouldn't be surprised if he brings someone from mls for a CAM but could depend on visa issues or could be a good 1 year deal with mls covid19 issues with signings and working permits for South America players. Having him connected to a decent agency may bear fruit compared to jp being a c*** and no one wants to come here. I'm still pissed off with losing Sulivan and he will shine at glory and probably be the signing of the season.

With the way our club is so corporately oriented not expecting much for signings and i wonder if Robbo will even get a decent budget.

The problem is this...the MLS final is on 12th December, 2020 and some players are signed until 31st December, 2020. I think the MLS clubs doesn't announced their released players till January 2021 and the A-League commences on 27th December 2020. If Carl was to sign someone from the MLS, they would have to get them to quickly adept to the team's formation and how they play.

Personally, there's one player Carl should be look at signing from MLS that's a CAM, and that's 28 year old Nicolas Mezquida. When he was at Vancouver, he was the penalty kick and free kick specialist and produced some great goals. I think he does the free kicks and penalty kicks for Colorado Rapids which is where he is currently signed.

The only other option I would say (and I think I've said it before) would be 28 year old Jordan Mutch who is currently a free agent. I used to enjoy watching him play at Cardiff (35 games: 7 goals and 6 assists during the 13/14 Premier League season) and then he got transferred to QPR (sadly, he didn't do well there due to a thigh injury). He did well at K-League and in the AFC Champions League while playing with Gyeongham FC (12 games, 2 goals).

Jordon Mutch would be a great option. He’d settle in just fine with the physical football. Potential longer term option even under the current financial strain

I'd like him but unlikely and been watching him this season or Morris from seatle for lw but Muller hopefully plays his natural position.

Avid sports list that could be possible

As for the transfer timing i think there is special exemptions because of the the covid19 but visa issues are a problem and the lure of a lesser covid19 exposed country/league.

I’d add two further points:

- If he would stop making ludicrous challenges that an AA15’s would be proud in the box, then complaining as he’d done nothing wrong

- Stop berating the AR & referee when a close offside is let go in order to let VAR check if it’s offside. It happened at least 5-10 times during the season & the guy was bewildered that the AR didn’t raise his flag. Don't the players get updated on the new LOTG?

They are both good players ,but last season there was none discipline amongst the players.

I would say not just le AA on the park. They still play to the LOTG they learned in their teenage years.

For AA this year, I was still explaining LOTG changes at the end of this season.

Apart from Robinson doing what he was told by Lederer ie look at the academy players first, the article attached needs to be considered with all potential recruitment

Yep if you don’t people then they don’t want to stay working for you

That said going to India to see out the Covid crisis is interesting

with the caliber of player the Indian League is signing it will shortly be a top rating league

I mean who doesn’t want to see Scott Neville bomb down the sideline to then overhit a cross into the stands, sexual stuff
