NPL Youth Teams

I believe that all NPL Youth Teams finished above the Easterners and the Sea-bogans in all age groups in their 5 game competition. Finally something to be happy. The last time we won anything as a club was the NYL Grand Final against Heartle$$.

I think that FootballNSW thought that these were the top 6 (out of 24 clubs) in NPL1 youth so this is an achievement imho.

By the look of it our u16 and u18 didn't perform as well, finishing 2nd and 3rd. Overall we got the most points for our division though. The youth division was cut in two. Also bit hard to determine entirely as the NPL site has total games and not matching for all, and doesn't break down into each grades games. Though Apia had a higher total score in the other grouping

You have to look at the 1.1 age groups. Not the blue age groups

Goes without saying

Disappointing, but not surprising.

Pre-season matches are so much more enjoyable / less of a chore than attending actual A-League matches.

Especially when they’re at differing venues, plus they’re a great way to support local communities and businesses too. (E.g. Canberra, Cessnock, Maitland, Sefton, Seven Hills)

I’d be very surprised if he came back, as much as I would love him to. He recently had a baby with his wife, who from his Facebook posts has lots of family in America. Plus I’d be fairly certain he’d be on much better money at galaxy than what they’d be paying in the aleague.

Did he ever have a page there before? To me that suggests someone just created his page and didn't bother looking too much into where he was.

Trawling for news, I found that our club has actually made it onto the Premier League news website,  but I could be mistaken. I expect you guys from ol Blighty to correct me if I got it wrong.

What would make better news is if his signing would give a tilt at the top with the British Isles Coaching duo of Robinson and Miller leading the charge.

Just watch do an ad for Herbalife in Wanderers gear.

Well apparently the club are working with the government, towards having the pre-season fixtures open to Members, so that should be interesting.

Fingers crossed..!

This means the reign of terror imposed on us by Lowy and Gallop at the behest of his Fox Sports mates is over.

We can only hope that the officiating gets to be fair for ALL clubs in the league and that infringements that warrant a red or second yellow card actually get awarded. No more keeping the players on the field just because their Fox Commentators favourites like the mullet

That’s as valuable as a big name player signing imo. If we were actually fit last season we would’ve been twice the side we were.

Most def

somebody nerdier than me can check the stats but it felt like we let in late goals last year

The next MLS season is schedule to start in March (assuming the whole country hasn't collapsed because of Covid).

He might be here for two months then return back to the US for the start of their pre-season.

Well we have moved to a very British Isles staff over the last few years

Gavin Costello (Ire) Football operations manager

Karl Robinson (Wales) head coach

Kenny Miller (Scotland) Asst Coach

Do the Englishmen on here feel left out?

:unknw:
