It is if he puts the ball in the back of the net who cares?

I don't expect many goals. I rate Duke more than him and he hasn't set the world on fire recently.

Hope I'm wrong.

I'm willing to give him a chance and in the immortal words of Ryan Griffiths judge him on the pitch.

Hopefully if he can make us more dangerous up front Robbo can adjust the shape to make us more defensively secure. Or it'll be a like for like swap with what we already have as Robbo just throws everything at the wall to see what sticks. Hoping for the former, would not be surprised by the latter.

This signing got shredded by everyone. Sounded like none of our fans wanted him.

Days later he scores the winner on debut in the Sydney Derby...

A goal 4 years in the making.

hopefully he continues it. He's a winner and can do it on the big stage. And did it at Brisbane - his goal scoring rate was good. Not a good comparison with Meier.

The true test is whether he can do it consistently. I certainly hope so.

Someone should remind Robinson what happened when the club signed a 37 year old German striker almost 2 years ago.

Sadly, They didn't last long.

This post hasn't aged as well as he has :)
