Back to the game

How good is Natta? An 18 year old kid is our best Centre Back by a way.

His confidence in his own ability for a young defender is so impressive..

just little things, like under pressure he    Just easy as chests the ball back to the keeper

He’s class, enjoy him while we can

Natta has been fantastic.

Ziggy continues to impress me.

Natta was good. Needed a bit of help second half for a time. But very good.

I ecpect him to come back next season without the year 10 high school moustache and a slick high top fade hair do :D

Re a walk out song...

Not sure if the team walked out to it (it was so loud it was a bit of a blur), but by the start of the game, if I'm  not mistaken, "Welcome to my Wanderland" was played?

I think??

I go find it.

Subtle Wendy...try and get the debate going again for a walk out song.  :xnod:

For sure Ziggy’s attitude is amazing and his work effort, hopefully Natta is watching that too as Ziggy is hoping the kids how to be a pro

To Whacko's post

I've given up on a song we can all sing to as a walkout...

It needs to be slow and it needs to soar to a crescendo.

I just listen enviously to the Victory home game walkouts.

That's the closest I'll ever get to participating in something like that in Australia.

:cry::cry:

You have given your all to the walkout discussion these last 6 or 7 years :D

What relevance does that dirge have to western sydney?

It’s 2 minute microwave meal atmosphere

Rubbish!

It unifies the whole. stadium from the get go. In a more sustained way than WDWSF, for example.

It's powerful. Unique here.

Who does?

the production company with the club's input of course. (all clubs around the world use an external company for this stuff, before someone decides to complain about this).

We tried Glorious as a walkout theme but the sidelines didn't get into it.

Hard to force something like what Victory have. Needs to be organic. Give it 10 years I'm sure something relevant will come up and be universally acceptable for sides and the active.

Hahaha...that's what I've heard since early 2013.

Oh well...only 2 more years to go, before the first 10 years is up!

:lol::lol:

PS I noted Song 2 is played as a goal celebration still, which is good...but we haven't got the hang of it yet. :D

Victory do their Walkout and the goal celebration just right. ;)

At the end of the day, if the rest of the fans don't sing it, what do you expect them to do? It's why they went back to this format.

Song 2 is great imo!

I hear it, because I like it. I only noticed it when all the delirious cheering died down.

Most people wouldn't know it's happening...it just blends in with the background.

Don't know how you introduce it...but in Season 1, it was instantaneous that Wanderers supporters adopted the 7 Nations Army celebration, that Victory does. Until it was stopped.

Nevermind...there was nothing wrong with last night's atmosphere, that's for sure.

Walk out song discussion again? Easily fixed. Wendy to come up with the lyrics for "Du Hast", RBB in charge of the pyro display, and we are all set.

If Rammstein's singer can fire a rocket launcher and just about set the stage on fire in an in ground venue, surely no one would object replicating this in a football stadium? Right, @blameturner??
