Would prefer to lose to Mount Druitt, tbh. The local bragging rights will be brutal.

We'll beat them then lose to Blacktown who have a better manager than us.

AU are not impressive. Yengi is uninspiring up front. Olympic don't seem to have enough to win but AU are not great. Pretty scrappy.

Playing on an artificial surface, not grass. Multiple players in Adelaide Olympic were in the Adelaide United youth set-up

And the officiating was poor in critical moments. Adelaide should have received 3 or 4 yellow cards

Hume City definitely seal the win with late drama, the score was 3-1.

Ex-Adelaide United player Mark Ochieng open the scoring for Hume City around the 17th minute with a superb goal that was outside the box. Second half seemed to be back and forth. But, Port Melbourne eventually got equaliser. The equaliser was scored by Scottish-Australian Chris Duggan in the 79th minute. The match looked like it was going into extra time. However, late drama saw Josh Bingham score in the 92rd minute and then Nahuel Bonada sealed the victory for Hume City as they immediately scored again in the 93rd minute. At the end of the match, it seems Nahuel Bonada picked up a red card.

Both clubs had a few ex A-League players:
- Hume City has Mark Ochieng, Brandon Lauton, Mitch Cooper, Josh Bingham and Theo Markelis
- Port Melbourne has George Mells, Ross Archibald and Francesco Stella

Red card was after he scored the 3rd, there was some kind of scuffle after the goal and he got marched before the restart.

I was hoping I could replay the last few minutes on 10play to see what happened.

I read some comments on Facebook that he over-reacted to his goal thus causing him to receive a red card.

So over the coming days, various NPL teams face up to an A-League teams

Could we see one or more cupsets?

And one all A-League clash This weekend.

And between Round 1 and 2

Perth Glory v Melb Victory (in Adelaide)

Sydney Olympic v Smurfs

Tigers v Apia-Leichhardt

Devonport forfeited letting Avondale proceed to the next round unchallenged.
