The new A-League season will open for the Wanderers with the Sydney Derby on Saturday the 8th of October at ANZ Stadium.
The competition proper kicks off with Brisbane vs Melbourne Victory on Friday the 7th of October, with Wellington vs Melbourne City preceding the Derby on Saturday, and Perth vs Central Coast on after. Newcastle vs Adelaide ends the round.
Western Sydney will face their grand final opponents, Adelaide United, in the first away match of the campaign, on Friday the 14th in Adelaide. The first A-League match for the Wanderers at the Sydney Olympic Showground will be in round 3 against the Newcastle Jets on Sunday the 23rd. An interesting quirk of the draw and the Wellington home fixtures means that both games against Wellington (Rounds 11 & 18) will be played in Auckland & New Plymouth respectively.
New Years Day will see the Wanderers play Perth at ANZ Stadium while a "community" round match will take place against Newcastle at Campbelltown stadium on the 22nd of January. The season ends with an away game against Adelaide United on the 15th of April, with the finals to take place between the 21st of April & Sunday the 7th of May for the Grand Final.
