From the Adelaide United forum :D

Lets hope brisbane make it to the gf because lets be honest....no one wants 5k of the rbb in adelaide. Im sure there are some great people but the overall perception of the rbb is not super positive.

Hopefully we get more than 5k

From the lack of travel options (my son and I were online for an age last night trying to find something that wouldn't melt the credit card) it would seem that there is a huge contingent going.

Already thinking about food and drink lol I was down in Adelaide in October and went to this Indian place http://jasmin.com.au/ They do take away also.

The Indian cricket team when they tour Australia go there, if you like your food spicy and a few beers to wash it down then highly recommended for a good feed :good:

I got tickets right on full time for the GF.

No idea you had to put in a code to get the active tickets.

If anyone hasn't got tickets yet and wants to buy a family pass off me at cost price, shoot me a PM.

Trying to organise flights + accommodation now. The pricing/options are so ridiculous looking at like $700 just to even get there without accommodation. I can only get so much of an advance on my centrelink payments.

Do what I did and fly down to Melbourne and take an overnight coach or something

Just wandering Jess... was that you walking around the field in the red blazer last night? If so... gotta say you look more beautiful in person than you do in the internet

Nah not me. I was representing in the Eastern Stand wearing my jersey. I think you might be confusing me for Jessica Csaszar who is the media intern for the team.

I'm not a bad sort though :P Several members of this forum should (hopefully) attest to that. Dmixtaaa, Manfred help me out dudes   :cheeky:

I went on wotif 10 mins after the game and after just booking the flights I booked the first city hotel I could find that was decently priced for 2 nights. The Chifley @ $94 per night. I now realise I have no idea where it is or how close to the stadium..!

I booked the same place a couple of hours later - if I remember correctly it's 2.3 km from Adelaide Oval

    In x 2

    Anyone got the PAX?

Last i saw was over 25k at 11:30 today

Don't go paying 1000 unless you absolutely have to be in Sydney on Monday morning, a little Corolla is about 250 a week to hire, not that you'll be needing a whole week, your fuel bill will be about 150 too.

You can do this on 500 bucks, finding 2 or 3 others to share the driving will make it even cheaper and easier.

Drive back Sunday night you'll be in Sydney late Monday afternoon, maybe even in time to return the car before 5pm

I can't recommend it highly enough.

Any idea on plans for a live site as yet...

Looking at driving to Adelaide as the only possibility at this stage.

Being at 2 grand finals and losing is bad enough, but the thought of winning one and not being there is incomprehensible..

    Stuff Melbourne City to hell...

Haven't seen you posting on here for ages Stav!

    Welcome back!  :)  :)

    Thanks Wendy and WSWBoro

I have had my head down in other things for a while. finishing off study, working family life, dramas all seemed to catch up with me there for a bit.

I really want to go down for this game, but as usual there are so many competing forces.

It may be the road trip of all road trips, but I need to consider other things this time round.

I have often neglected other aspects of my life and people for the Red and Black, this forum included, so im screwed either way right..haha

I love HSP's with extra garlic sauce also but wwwooooowwww back there SBW...I think you've had your head stuck in one too many scrummages in that other retard game. Jess is a sweet, intelligent, darling of a girl which butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. I would never think of our dear Jess in any other way, besides if Dmixtaaaa was to hit her with the full force of the Dmix charm she would be lost to society for ever. I respect you Jess too much to muddy your impurity and ruin it for the rest of the male population.
