That is admin speak for 'we haven't got a ****ing clue who has bought and who hasn't for collecting so I would rather not sell any further if I can help it'

I will take a punt that the presold collection line could be bigger and a longer wait than pay on the gate.

Woman sounded slightly exasperated, but I just bought 3 tickets over the phone about 5 minutes ago. No surcharge mentioned

She just told me she wouldn't sell me one over the phone because they've been burgled and they can't get inside cause everything needs to be fingerprinted... wtf

She practically pleaded with me to just pay the extra $5 and buy it at the gate. Maybe she's being held hostage?  :ninja:

Had they just made it $10 for ticketed Adult members & $15 for general public, it would have saved them a lot of dramas.

Yep, made it hard for themselves, maybe underestimated the interest.

Could get messy tomorrow night with those having paid already and collecting and those paying on the gate.

And it is only a friendly FFS.

Just been for some tickets and the lady is right. She can't touch anything. Why? Because some ******* lowlife scrotum has robbed the place.

I hope those pre-sold APIA v WSW tickets weren't stolen...

The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers head to continue their preparations for the 2014/15 season when they take on APIA Leichhardt at Leichhardt Oval on Tuesday 5 August 2014.

The match, which kicks-off at 7:30pm, is the first meeting between the Wanderers and the former National Soccer League champions.

Wanderers defender Shannon Cole said that the match will be a trip down memory lane.

“I actually played some junior football with APIA Leichhardt so it will be great fun returning to face a Club where I have so many fond memories as a youngster,†explained Cole.

“Pre-season is such an important time for every club and we’ll make the most of this match to ensure we’re ready for our FFA Cup game against Adelaide City next week.

“We’ve had two solid hit-outs so far this pre-season and I’m sure Tuesday’s match will be just as valuable.

Kick-off is 7:30pm on Tuesday 5 August at Leichhardt Oval. Tickets are available at the gate.

They noted my email address, mobile number and name when I ordered, and imagine they did the same for all, so worst case they print a new batch of tickets or similar.

Considering whether to go to this one tomorrow, but I'm just concerned about the trek back to Blacktown afterward... as in, how to get from stadium to Central, then home.

Pretty sure many have mentioned using the light rail system to get from the central out to the stadium. Give it a go!

I might just get a train to Lewisham or Petersham, and walk there. Then, I'll just taxi it home.

    It ain't too hard.
