Just bought a ticket. Pox is 7,185

hmmmmm, still think we will crack the 10k, but it is going to look sparse compared to previous games up there.

Good to have a home game at a regular rectangular stadium again  :good: Cause lets face it CCM - 'away' isn't really an away game.

I wonder if Fapman will be there to take some pics of the sparse grand stands.

As Nova said in the atb podcast this week, for all travelling supporters, we all have to be active! Regardless when we're winning or losing.

    Fire up!

Well if i can blast my voice at 4 nil down to Eastern suburbs with hordes of people making for the exits with 5 minutes to go, this should be a breeze.

I posted this in the away trip thread. I'm outraged so ill post it here too lol...

I always want to see the Mariners do well as a club but the price gouging for this game is dodgy AF.

I paid $35 for an active ticket and my parents bought tickets in the gold category last night for $45 each to sit in line with the 18 yard box. That's a joke. No A-league game is worth that much.

Even the regular prices for non WSW home games are pretty high, no wonder they're struggling for crowds. $30 for a kid to sit in the grandstand, they're having a laugh.

There should be some sort of capped pricing system set up across the league to stop people being ripped off.

We are entering Gallop's brave new world. Where every A-league fan looks like Yoshi, comes from a middle class family and idolizes vi$ion and the media friendly Melbourne City club model.

This happened with the NBL at it's height in the 90's, prices kept going up, supporters and families stopped going. Same with NRL, this honestly doesn't surprise me. Close to guaranteed to happen when the new parra stadium is done and dusted. Question is, will it be worth it???

Clisby/L.Scott to score a cracker from outside the 18.

Happened last year at CCM away. I ended up buying a family ticket for $50 so that's $25 per adult.

Also the ticket just states "family" didn't even specify adult or kids. So you could potentially get 4 adult tickets from it ;)

The rental costs at Central Coast Stadium are extraordinarily high--hence why the club wanted to try and buy the stadium themselves (and rent it back to NRL clubs during the winter). The rental costs do have a direct impact on the ticket prices. But, they still go up for WSW games. They will argue it's due to the increase security and staff they need to cover the higher crowd. *shrugs*

That's for the extra 100 brownshirts they need to try to stop Hektic from entering the ground.
