Heading back from Cairns tonight and coming off the plane we were getting on was a kid with a City hat. #vision is working.

Anyway I question the logic of running the B side 4 days out from a clash against us, this preseason has shown City they need to get their **** together fast.

Agree with this. Makes no sense to not give anyone any minutes leading into the FFA Cup match.

I hope we destroy them and show the team has gelled nicely whilst over in Japan.

 

City's defence will be their undoing this season, yet again.

If we don't make any mistakes in defence and don't give away any freekicks near the goals we should be ok.

I wish I could go to watch wsw play against vi$ion in the ffa cup but I'm saving my funds for victory away in round 6 and other trips during the season ! hopefully we get a home grand final this year so I don't have to fork out money to drive across cross the deserts of SA again

You really have to stop this infatuation with Cornthwaite Paul !!! He hasn't featured in any of the lead up games (even though he's been here for over 2 months and well before our first FFA cup game v Nix). He won't be playing tomorrow night.

Based on previous pre-season games I would say the locked in players are:

GK: Redmayne

Defence: Neville, Aspro, Hamill

Def Mid: Dimas

Wing & Attacking Midfield: Jumpei, Nichols

 

7 players.

 

If Popa elects for continuity over change, he'll partner Aspro with NTS.

 

Lustica has been very impressive in pre-season, it might be harsh to drop him for Nico.

 

Santa & Bulut can be equally effective starting or coming off the bench. Bulut probably gets the nod as Santa has been playing off the bench as a supersub.

 

Baccus hasn't impressed me that much so I would be picking Pinatares.
