I wonder how the ref will screw us this time

Ref is Stephen Lucas. More likely to f*** up but the VAR is Griffiths-Jones.

The only way we have a chance is for us to keep a clean sheet. If they score any goals that are suspect they will still be allowed. So we have to score three goals because at least two will be disallowed by V.A.R  (Very Atrocious Referring). Therefore we win 1 nil.

Babbel learning things that he didn't think existed in professional football.

    ---

"A new experience for me, I've never had this before that you are losing so many games in a row."

"This is the biggest surprise for me because defending normally is easier than to attack. The problem that we have is that we are not seeing the danger. This is also a new experience for me. This is the biggest surprise to me that we have many problems to defend. We can't concentrate for 90 minutes, we always have periods where we totally switch off."

"We definitely concede too many goals, also for me a new experience, because [defending] is normally easier to learn."

"This is what we have to learn: 90 minutes of concentration, this is a big problem for us."

"Not many of our players played ten games in a row - also a new experience for me, because normally as a professional it is possible, but here everything is a bit different. We have to learn from this, have to get the power in our body to play every three days. This is what a professional footballer usually can do. [...] For some players it is not possible to play two games in three days."

    ---

Our players being able to see the danger, being able to defend, concentrate for 90 minutes, being fit enough to play English weeks - I am looking forward for the learning experience to come to an end - for him, the coaching group, and the players.

So that means there were no consequences for his last error strewn effort. Not only have they not given him a week off but they've assigned him to the same team that he screwed over last week.

The only consequence was that we do not get any points. Griffith-Jones gets a "well done"  pat on the the back

Doubt that guy has ever been in a box that often. (Apologies in advance)

And I would like to know how OUR club is protesting about this, and doing everything they can to placate their fans who have just about had a ******* gutful.

    I'm guessing they've done nothing.

I've still been attending games because I love our club. Despite the continued defeats. Despite the heat and storms and rain. Despite the holiday period and mid week games. I've still been cheering the lads on like there is no tomorrow. I've still been singing every single song along with the RBB.

Yet, week after week, I see our team screwed over by on field officiating. Sure, we haven't been perfect on the field as a team, and our results have reflected that. Yet, week after week I see our team screwed big time by absolutely appalling decisions - mainly from the VAR.

I've seen years of video refereeing in the NRL. They have learnt from their mistakes and more often than not, hey now get it right.

The FFA (and ******* David Gallop should know this more than anyone) need to get the VAR right. This is what is screwing our game. Not the referees, not the system, but the monkeys who are reviewing these decisions and getting so many of them wrong. There needs to be consistency in decisions. We are not seeing that, as we all know.

I'm sick of this season and the way it has panned out. Olympic Park has been a shocking short term death for our club.

I'll be there at our next home game regardless of our results in the next two away games. But, I'm so close to losing my passion for this club as I don't see the passion in reverse - from Lederer or the FFA. I'm still here because I can see it in the players, and Marcus.

Riera has flown to Melbourne. Odd if he's still injured, so I expect we may see him on the bench at the very least

Australian Open tennis perhaps? They do have a bit more disposable cash than us?

If he was back in light training, the side may have flown to melbourne and will be going up to brisbane at some point without heading back to Sydney, so they may be keeping the whole squad together.

dont they have anyone better? like anyone?

    Well do want

    A. Jarred Gillet (hates us)

    B. Kurt Ams (competent?)

    C. Shaun Evans (does the FFA line now)

    D. Jonathan Barriero (Smurf in disguise)

    D. Alex King (Wilson disciple)

    E. Adam Kersey (Wilson disciple)

    F. Matthew Conger.

I take F. He was the ref at our last A-league at Campbelltown. He got his first game this season (CCM v Roar) because he went to the World Cup and the Aussie refs didn't. He dished multiple yellow cards to both CCM and Brisbane.

in doing so unwittingly got Beatheac, McKay and Pepper suspended for next Fridays game against us. Plus their u19 Young Socceroo CB Reardon got sent off in their NYL game so I don't think he can get selected in the squad.

KGJ again as Var the FFA don’t really don’t give a **** do they?

I can only ever remember seeing him do it every time I watch our games.  Who else do they use for that role?

There's a micron microscope in Berkeley, California which is so powerful it can actually see down to half the width of a hydrogen atom.

If I had that very microscope right now I would struggle to find my interest in this game.   :(
