I have a strange feeling we will get a win...it's been that sort of season....WSW 2-1..if Carusca is in and Risdon is back.

I have a weird feeling we will too. But I don’t think it’s been  “that kind of season” all we have done is beat the rubbish teams in yellow, struggling to think of a unexpected win against anyone

It would be a whole lot better if we had players with skill and pace who could actually pass/ run.......we competed against teams for periods of a game, but never for the whole 90.. I think to date we have had about 15 shots that have hit the crossbar and not gone in...the most in the league....lol

I get people want Gumby gone and their reasons I just think there is a little bit of overreaction at times. We have been poor before and copped hidings before Gumby, and most probably will after Gumby,  You only have to read WSWBoro's posts about his beloved "Boro and the history he talks about with that club, some good some bad but he still supports them. I'm a bit the same in that I really don't care who is coach or who plays I support WSW.

Yes ideally he’d have got his own squad and maybe if he had we’d be playing sexual football like a Craig Foster wet dream, if he’s still around next season maybe we will get to see it.

But He’s had since round 6 (including a Jan transfer window) to at least show that he can produce a competitive side playing half decent football and he’s hasnt done it.

We have had a couple of glimpses of decent football here and there but that’s it.

The right guy for the gig would have us playing as a team (better than sum of parts), we were a total shambles last week as we have largely been against every team above us in the table.

Im with you on supporting team who evers manager (polishes Everton supporter for 40+ years badge), each week I hope we win, and bizarrely by about Thursday every week I convince myself that we will.

Even if we don’t I’ll still support team, but I’d like a few more grand final Adelaide away style experiences

I totally get that with his own squad etc he might have done better (he probably would have) but if you look at this season, there is nothing there so far to say he’s the best guy for the gig. basically he has been the wrong guy for the situation we were in, you can argue that he might be true right guy for next year, but unfortunately he’s burnt a fair bit of credit so far

By the way the club is just as to blame here

    ...and the players.

We always seem to play Victory after they’ve lost or have come under some criticism, especially Berisha not scoring then finally scoring against us lmao.

I pray for any poor souls making the trip down south. I hopes it’s quick and painless. Godspeed my brothers.

Here Gombau, "play to the strength" of a squad where one midfielder wants to be back in England more than he wants to play, one who had a sook and refused to play in an away game, another who was signed as an attacking mid but can't pass forward if his life depended on it, a "marquee" winger which is getting outperformed by Sotirio and Mark "past it" Bridge and a young kid who looks better than all the rest.

    And Steve Lustica.

Yes let’s not forget them, few of them come out of this with any credit

Looking forward to another one of those "Hard loss tonight...blah, blah, blah" Instagram posts from the club, followed by multiple images of players licking their wounds at the beach, or at a party, or at a restaurant. Hope it's otherwise.

Team squad in (although this is never 100%).

Kearyn Baccus, Tyson & Herd still out.

Risdon back from international duty & Carrusca from injury. Tokich still in the squad.

    Last 6 meetings. Conceded 12, scored 1.

Maybe we’re just more tinpot than we realise.

****, if WSW were playing in the backyard I would draw the ******* curtains...to borrow one of my old mans sayings. Poor bastards, just get smashed as you say and it will take the edge off the pain.

He had the team since round 6 and had a Jan transfer window in there too. We are yet to play a half decent 90 minutes.

Along the way we have made Jason Hoffman look like Messi

He bought in Carrusca & Ikon which is about all you can expect from an A-League transfer window, and they are performing better than the other attacking midfielders/wingers.

He let go of his captain and best centre back and never replaced him, and we wonder why our defence is a mess

besides my point is he’s had the team since round 6 and brought in a couple of his own signings and we are worse then when he arrived

(and I don’t mean squad yes ikon is better than Jumpei, yes carrusca should have been signed at start of year, but performance)

Well....I'm looking forward to Mack using "clodhoppers" in his article title...if  (or when) we lose!  :xbop:

Hey Hey Happy here , been away doing some travelling :)

So we have to get 3 good results for Josep to hope to return next season.

There is a Western Suburbs boy floating in the wings waiting for the opportunity ,

he has passion he is a west boy and still is and has one the great soccer brains , he has performed at good European levels as a player , he is arrogant , he is of Italian heritage.

He fits the Wanderers mould perfectly :good:

Bye for now from Happy  glad to be home for awhile :xnod:

Hard to know what to make of Okon. I think Pep himself would struggle to make CCM not s***, so can’t really judge him on that. Good players generally make rubbish coaches though...

Tactically Okon with our squad would have worked but apparently he is a strange cat. Goes silent for days and his man-management leaves a lot to be desired.
