Newcastle should be a piece of piss should only make one change start Cole bring Santa on earlier if we trail

Cole is unfortunately the scapegoat for a lot of last season.

    He needs a run ASAP.

Cole always should of been our Rb he really barely misses a beat and Newcastle would be the game to prime him

Our right flank is shocking Romeo and Neville look like there going to run into each other half the time and it ain't Romeos fault

Nevilles gotten to were he is now based on heart alone...

For sure Cole and Santa super subs we've cracked it

We're missing a solid cdm off the bench though Baccus and pepper ....

Hamill or Aspro ever play as a cdm

Aspro is still learning his trade as a central defender I doubt Popa will be confusing him by sticking him in defensive midfield!  Not the time for experimentation with so few games left.

Yeah, if he was thinking along those lines I reckon that Alberto would get that gig. But Baccus has been ok. And that dude that came on the other week - against Wellington? - looked lively.

Is active sold out for the game?

It ought to be. This is the biggest game in Newy for us since season 1

Adelaide have City twice, Muppets and us once (and the three point sauce bottles). Brisbane have Victory twice, City and the Muppets (and Newcastle which is probably a lock). If we win the next two we're short priced for the plate.

RBB has put on buses to and from Club Marconi in Bossley Park to Newcastle and back. Buses will be leaving at 11am sharp on Sunday morning and returning straight at full time.

All we ask is for $20, with the money raised on bus ticket sales being matched by the RBB and going to 2 charities (including funds for Nato's kids).

We will take cash on the day, just show up as there are still spots available.

Adelaide United vs Melbourne City's result definitely helps us out.

I'm hoping we secure the win and Victory defeat Roar so then it puts us on outright leaders. Even if Roar did win, we would still be leaders with the points difference.

5 must win games ,2 vs mvc and Adelaide one in Melbourne like those odds

    15 points on offer

I am confident we will make the top 4. But as I, and a lot of others, have being saying all season a genuine goalscorer could well be the difference between that and making the final, winning the plate, HAL or even making the ACL.

So after the Roar won 5-0 we need a statement of intent tomorrow.  Not just a one goal win. Let's smash someone for once.  How many times have we won by more than one goal this season?  We always seem to be waiting for the whistle. The Jets are crap. 3-0 at least surely.

We scrape results against poor opposition on a good day

This is the A-league, we can't be picky. I'll take a scrappy 1 goal win. We just need to get the three points, I don't care how we do it.

Of course I'll take a win by any means. But just for once, it would be nice to put someone to the sword and not knick a one goal victory,
