So round 8......how many weeks are we expected to wait before the team ‘gels’. With the exception of Lopar and perhaps Kamau, i am not impressed with our cohesion or inability to stop Newy’s central runs....seriously a bit over this

No don't worry, FCB said we will win the league so that means we will.

He’s made 4 saves so unless he was planning on scoring an own goal it’s probably not 5.

    I lost count

It seemed like 5..or 6!

Our corners have been awful. So far I’ve seen a set move to Baccus on the D that was floated in and looped over the bar, one straight at the keeper and a short corner that hit the first defender.

We're missing Majewski more than people realise. Muller has pedigree but he's not an attacking midfield playmaker. Majeweski would have been the lynchpin the rest of the attack built up around (with Meier holding it up when required), but we don't have that and Grozos isn't up to the task.

Zero build up. CB hoof to the front line. Lots of “lol hope you get that”. 3 horrendous corners. Can’t pass. A backline that doesn’t know what a line is. We’ve got it all tonight folks.

Were seriously lucky not to be down by 3.

For some reason we persist with Wilmering who hasn’t got a cross on him and leave Jurman to do most of the defending. I’m sure he’s got a future but we won’t win silverware with undercooked players.

The positives - Duke still wants to drag us kicking and screaming to a goal or two. Yeboah has also found his spot there. Georgevski looks like the only bloke who can move the ball up the park to the front line.

Very lucky to go to the break level. Apart from the last shot by Duke we showed nothing upfront and the defense seems so disjointed. Hope this changes in the second half others we are looking at another loss.

I’d take winning the one-on-one battles...Schwegler is a former Swiss international but his delivery from set pieces has been average, half of our vaunted back four seem to be turning the ball over at will and Muller has yet to create much at the other end.....growl maybe I’m just being grumpy but this is not what I was expecting this season - and I wasn’t expecting to win the comp, just be the sort of team that is clearly top 4 material with heart and effort...

My god this. Sullivan maybe to 10? Maybe move Muller you RW?

Just some amateur stuff out there.

no patience or quality coming from Duke, Geogevski, McGowan and Wilmering.

No control in midfield. No cohesion or link from defence to attack.

Muller has no idea how to get involved.

Almost has me thinking that Babbel is trying to fit too many square pegs into round holes atm.

So WTF hasn’t the club made a replacement AM an absolute priority instead of signing another winger in Muller????? There must be someone out there....somewhere....please???

Can’t agree. Saw very similar patterns unfolding in pre season with Majewski struggling to get involved.

I wonder if it is a tactic thing.

Jets love a long ball. They probably get punished if it takes more than two passes to get it up over halfway.

They do it very effectively though.    I wish we could be more direct as well,  but it seems that we don't the passing abillty from the back or midfield most times to do it properly.

Quality attacking midfielders are the hardest position in football to sign. We already got one, then had him injured, and had to try and replace him when most leagues were already a month or 2 into the season.

We're too open in the midfield, the Knights are running right through us down the middle way too easily and able to get their shots in.

There's little cohesion in our final 3rd, honestly I think Elrich and Sullivan both need to get on the 2nd half to open the game up a bit for us.

We seem to spend most of our time getting in each others way. If we can come away with anything better than zero points, it will be through more good luck than good management.
