Cahill will be available as soon as NYRB get knocked out of MLS possibly as early as this weekend , a trip to Morocco might be enough to tempt him .

Can an injury replacement player be foreign if the player they're replacing is Australian? I wouldn't have thought so.

If this was ESFC arnie would be whinging about the heavy schedule.

I was actually looking at our schedule yesterday and CCM and Brisbane both have to play midweek (obviously against us).

Imagine if the derby had to be moved and ESFC had to play midweek because of us.. You wouldn't hear the end of it from him.

They played for the youth team last weekend, so i reckon they'll be good to go for this match.

Cahill was on the Grill Team from New York this morning, they jokingly suggested he was to join the Wanderers. He laughed it off and said "don't joke about things like that... that's not a funny joke." Which, gave me the impression that with all the A-League talk a few months back that there was some retribution from within the MLS or Red Bull about it. So, I doubt he would come here... at his age, the rest is probably better for him before the Asian Cup anyway.

Our NYL squad play MV @ Blacktown at 3.30pm on Saturday so travelling back from NZ could be an issue. The following Sunday they play Glory in Perth @ 2pm.

IMO Ante will travel to Wellington but not to Perth to play Glory on Saturday night.
